  1. I think he will be all right for a season or two yet, he’s got a long way to go to catch Tomo up?
  2. trigger2

    Jogging!

You still running kerny92? How you getting on with it?
  3. I would love to see a pick of the deerhound x chihuahua. Lol
  4. Some crazy shit goes on there. That body with its head arms legs and penis cut off just dumped in the street just shows they ain’t afraid to do anything to protect there patch.
  5. Oh ok. Perhaps I didn’t write it very clear. I’ve known it be that f***ing hot outside it’s caused the tarmac to start to melt in places and stick to my foot wear. Although it’s been that hot I’ve never known it cause the dogs feet to get burnt from heat off the concrete or tarmac.
  6. I’ve got the one left here mate he will be 8 in feb, the Mali x just simply didn’t have any top end don’t know if it was just the way he was bred or if it was due to a injury he picked up in the garden as a pup. He chipped his tibia cress and possibly damaged his cruciate ligament. Lost the other one this year at 13 and half years old rip old lad. The Mali x is in a pet home he’s settled into living in doors well by all accounts.
  7. I agree. The last 3 dogs I’ve had have been out lamping with me from pups watching learning none of them made a sound whilst out working.
  8. What’s the excuse for a dog that yaps when brought on when mature. There’s plenty of them and not just the beddy cross
  9. A lot work gone into that nest. Bet you soon sorted that out.
  10. I can well believe it would stick to the dogs feet but I couldn’t be sure about the burning part. I know sometimes when I am out jogging on the roads that the tarmac is that hot it’s gone soft in places and it also sticks to my trainers on occasions in the past.
  11. It’s been suggested a straight whippet, it would deffo help keep the size down which you say you are after. With so many breeds in the mix I think a grew would give you more chance of throwing bigger pups with the greyhound influence from the grew combined with the deerhound and greyhound influence in your bitch.
  12. I wouldn’t think your too far out with 26.
  13. The dogs would be well adapted to working places like that and read the bolting game well, IMO with what little time I spend ferreting It’s good to watch dogs doing there thing working places like that.
  14. 53 and a goose off a water logged field, same dogs had 50 and a partridge as well. Think he was just showing off when he caught the goose
  15. Not a 100% on this but 26 springs to mind that’s bolting to the lamper and digging a few from the ferrets.
  16. It’s my first Wheaton x mate, not my usual type of dog his damn was a first x Wheaton grey sire was saluki Wheaton grey x whippet grey. I travellled a fare distance to a complete strangers for him couldn’t of asked for a nicer lad to buy a pup from. He owned the parents and even spent over a hour driving me round to see them work. I will let you know what I think of the dog around Xmas when he’s done a bit
  17. Sounds like they would be some nice little dogs if everything had been done properly. I am trying a little bit of Wheaton blood myself, got a little dog here just turned a year old last week. Hopefully you can get what your after, there’s sure to be a lad or two reading this that may be able to sort you out. Don’t let that experience put you off traveling for a dog.
  18. I’ve been bitten to f**k this year by them I dont remember it ever being so bad. I had tick on my leg last week which I’ve never had before freaked me out a little?
  19. Some of the stuff that gets put on here I wouldn’t be so sure it is a wind up. I’ve seen plenty of rabbits caught on the lamp with leggy terriers.
  20. I’ve seen and worked on many occasion a pair of beddy whippets that Punched well above there weight both together and single handed on numerous occasions. I was very impressed with what they done both day and night they were only 18 & 19 inches. I think they are a good little dogs.
  21. Going from what you say LurcherLad94 at least it works which is something
  22. f**k me mate there’s some shit talked amongst the lads you get dogs from. You put that pic up in the other thread of him saying you had been told he’s actually 9 not 5-6 but going of the date of this thread when it was started the dog is coming up to 7 or is 7 years old if he was 6 September last year. It’s hard to know where you stand with him. He’s got bull in then he hasn’t ffs
