Victoria Gym it was called after his daughter. he would get free tickets to events up here in the north east and would take me and my pal with him as we were the youngsters in the gym. was great, ringside seats. we felt the bees knees at the time lol

    Larry Holmes

how he go up from that knockdown from shavers is beyond me. what a shot it was. larry holmes would clear the division up if he was fighting todays heavyweights imo
  12. i was helping my lad buy a house a few year back. going through the motions, money in place, mortgage sorted and waiting for solicitor to sort things out. never heard owt for a few weeks then get a call off the solicitor saying the vendor was not responding to calls. did a bit scouting about to find the house had just being reposed and the owner didnt even have the decency to call to let us know. i was pissed to say the least. anyway ended up buying the house of the bank for less money. boys moved in and all's well. every cloud and all!

  16. vlad is a credit to himself and the sport. for a man of his age to be in that condition is quite remarkable imo.. i had him winning the fight until the stoppage. AJ seemed to be blowing early on and did really well to come back into it and win.
  17. good luck to him. he would probably have lost all his pension entitlement for his long service and all the shit he has being through. who can blame him for cashing in on this?
  18. next to Rosies Bar in Newcastle City Centre a wile back.

  20. i dont brew cider, just beer. made a russian imperial stout yesterday. should turn out at 10% abv if all goes well.
  21. splenda or the like will sweeten it up and is non fermentable. easy to pick up from tescos or asda. That's interesting, I have this lactose left over from a milk stout I made at Christmas and have heard of others using it to sweeten cider. oh if you have it at hand just use it. has your cider come out dry? only mentioned the splenda as it non fermentable too.
