i was helping my lad buy a house a few year back. going through the motions, money in place, mortgage sorted and waiting for solicitor to sort things out. never heard owt for a few weeks then get a call off the solicitor saying the vendor was not responding to calls. did a bit scouting about to find the house had just being reposed and the owner didnt even have the decency to call to let us know. i was pissed to say the least. anyway ended up buying the house of the bank for less money. boys moved in and all's well. every cloud and all!

i dont brew cider, just beer. made a russian imperial stout yesterday. should turn out at 10% abv if all goes well.

splenda or the like will sweeten it up and is non fermentable. easy to pick up from tescos or asda. That's interesting, I have this lactose left over from a milk stout I made at Christmas and have heard of others using it to sweeten cider. oh if you have it at hand just use it. has your cider come out dry? only mentioned the splenda as it non fermentable too.

had a bad back now for 20 years. some days good some not so go. was told ist what Bird said, degenerative disc disease after and mri scan. being on morphine for 6 years because of it. pain went into my knackers. fook was bad. not nice at all i tell ya.
