Plenty of these tough guy nut case types got raped in jail off a certain notorious ex boxer,and he was a prolific rapist. id rather buy 2 bottles of woodfords reserve bourbon for the £50 but if whiskey it is, isle of jura 16 year old is around £38 - £40 and a nice drop. you have so many to choose from and what one person likes someone else wont. personal preference really with this stuff.

when my beer is finished fermenting i put the fermenter in my shed on the concrete floor for a couple of days. the cold floor drops most of the yeast and always i end up with nice , clear beer. it will work with cider too.
