  1. I have been looking for the above camera, searched every where to no avail.Last week thought i'd give flea bay a try,and there it was, used 3 times box with all the contents and in as new condition.6 seconds to go whacked on my max bid and result, got it for a third off the new price.Got the camera the next day and well happy,it is immaculate.Went down to my local permission today to try it out ,mounted to the daystate panther for a bit of plinking.while i was sat there sighting it in the farmer came over to let me know that there has been a lot of ferals knocking around, one morning he claims the
  2. Excellent topic Tony I to was mentored as a youngster ,what i learned from dave you couldn't read in books our find on the internet,it came from his years of practice and fieldcraft,he no longer shoots as he is full of arthritis ,but thanks to him i have gained some of his knowledge and some very nice permission's.Keep up the good work mate ATVB,Ste
  3. Not good mate, very inconsistent.30mtr's 5 shots not one was pellet on pellet,40mtr's even worse .My usual pellet daystate heavies where pellet on pellet at 30 mtrs and within 5p of each pellet at 40mtrs.So i won't be using the OG's .177 in the daystate air wolf.Any rifle barrel favouring smaller head size pellets might find these work as they are 4.50.
  4. Nice shot Daz ,instant lights out mate ,didn't no what hit him..ATB Ste..
  5. i have heard that about the .22 pellets.i am out on the range tomorrow with the .177 pellets so will see how they are through the air wolf.
  6. Hi Rob,i sent cash by special delivery, got the pellets the following day. They look very well made no damage to skirts.

  11. Hi S.R.T, don't worry mate you won't get slated for making a comment be it good our bad.Trust me i do my homework where kill zones are on all the species i shoot.ive attached an image of a rabbits head and where its brain is if you compare where my shot was and where it would hit on the image, imo it was spot on..ATB Ste
  12. As the rest have said ,ordered my pellets from them well protected in bubble wrap.If paying by paypal they usually wait for funds to clear before they dispatch.
  13. Thanks for the kind words Marty,we don't really suffer with strong winds, but they have been forecast all week.So its new to me ,hold over/under is made easy thanks to chairgun, but aiming left/right due to strong winds is a lot harder.I do as so many others try to kill as quick and as humanely as possible ,given time your quarry will give you the shot your happy and confident to take.
  14. lol forgot about the bloke mowing the lawn Adam, very impressed with the work you've had done to the ranger, can't believe it didn't cover all the delicate detailing logo/checkering.You've a keen eye mawders mate, the second rabbit was closer than my zero of 30mtrs,at 20mtrs its 1/2 mildot hold under so i shot in between zero and 1/2 hold under.Milegajo you'd get sick of rabbits if you moved down here mate.Your not wrong Elliot they are starting to cause a lot of damage out in the fields,Will spend a full day up there next week and take some pictures of the damage they are causing
  15. Thought i was in for a peaceful afternoon at home this afternoon when the phone rang . It was the farmer of my main permission he had been putting up an electric fence and had seen a lot of rabbits and was concerned that they had stared to burrow in his fields making it hazardous for the cows, and could i come down and sort them out one day.In the years i have been shooting there this is only the second time he's phoned me about a vermin problem be it pigeon our rabbits,be down in an hour was my reply. On approaching the first field i spotted 4 rabbits feeding, got to within 30 mtr's picked out t

  18. Thanks for the great comments chaps.Hi si it was the perfect day yesterday for the longer range shots(.no wind),before i took the shot there was 5 feeding got to within 50 mtr's before 4 disappeared .Hi Probuk ,buy the best you can afford.sony probably your best bet alot of them about and you can pick a second hand one up cheaply .try and find out the image sensor chip 1/3 1/4 and 1/2 being the best.On verminhunters tv si showed of a camera mount you put around the scope tube.(handle bar camera mount) thats what i used yesterday with good effect and a doddle to use,.£8 delivered from amazon.
  19. Oil is best mate in my opinion, philips walnut oil our ccl, managed to scratch the wolf stock on barbed wire today some fine grit wet/dry a dab of oil and you'd never know.A bit more work involved if your stocks waxed
  20. Couldn't decide which one to take this afternoon, just topped the wolf with the mtc viper connect, and fitted a mk5 reflex silencer to the mk4.What the heck i'll take them both.Fist of was the mk4 scope cam fitted image stabilizer turned off(thanks si do's make a difference ).First shot was at a young maggie sitting on a post at 50mtr's missed just over it's head.Next was a rabbit at a lasered 50 mtr's 2 mil-dot hold over and down it went clean head shot. The next few rabbits were taken between 30-40 mtr's.Next out was the wolf fitted cam to the top of the scope and of i went. I was sat watching
  21. The mother in law got an email from who she thought was talk talk asking to update all her account details including bank details, they then opened a tesco bank account in her name and transferd money from her credit card to the fake tesco account.
  22. Don't update anything via email,if paypal/banks send email asking you to update your details, log into your own accounts and check,99% are scams the mother in law got scammed for £10,000 on her credit card last mounth, some very clever scammers out there
