thank's for the reply the one / mac.my permission is on the outskirts of a keepered estate, would the farmer let someone else shoot no chance/would the keeper let one of his beaters shoot the outskirts of the estate now most of the estate has game birds down possibly . hi mac totally agree with you on the concealment aspect, standing at 6ft-4 it's not hard to spot me entering a field.defo need to get some gloves and face mask.i have to shoot in daylight hours ,keepers orders.
i've been out on 3 occasions know and drawn a blank on all three i've left 2-3 weeks between each outing but the outcome is always the same.there are still plenty of rabbits about but as soon as i get in the same field as them their heads are up and away they go,can't seem to get within 70+mtr's of them.tried sitting and waiting for them but its as if they no im there, they come out and before i can get my sight's on them ,there gone. the feathered quarry are on the stubbles so i no they will be back when the stubble's get ploughed and the farmer starts to feed the cows.i've always gone to
hi provc, the casio is a nice little camera, getting harder to come by nowadays ,got mine from jessop's 6 mth's ago £99.battery life not so good, need to invest in a spare battery.hi bill mate, yes that second rabbit definitely had it's eye on me
THOUGHT I'D GIVE THE CASIO SCOPE CAM ANOTHER TRY THIS EVENING,HAD A FEW FOCUSING ISSUE'S FIRST TIME OUT.GOT SOME GOOD TIP'S OF SI AND I THINK SECOND TIME OUT IS A LOT BETTER.MOUNTED THE CAMERA TO THE R-10 THIS TIME OUT,AFTER 10 SHOTS ZEROING IT WAS TIME TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY RABBITS ABOUT.THE FIRST RABBIT WAS LASERED AT 40MTR'S ONE MIL-DOT HOLD OVER AND THE SHOT WAS TAKEN,THE PELLET HIT LOWER THAN EXPECTED BUT THE RABBIT WAS KILLED OUT RIGHT.THE FARMER HAD MANAGED TO GET A COUPLE OF RUNS OF WHEAT IN AND AS I WALKED DOWN THE RABBITS RAN INTO THE UNCUT WHEAT.SAT IN THE HEDGE AND WAITED .SECO
i did si ,made up they were good enough for you to use. thanks for the camera focusing tip,i now have crosshair and image both in focus cheer's si . ste
