    hi a mate of mine, asked me if i could get him some aseal birds last year he wants them to have around his yard as he likes the look of them , i was told now is the time to get eggs or young birds, how much is reasonable for eggs or young birds and does anyone have any for sale im in yorkshire so local would be best

    well lads and lasses, i thought lurcher shows was supposed to be fun places were like minded folk come together to have fun and chat, something to fill the time while our dogs carnt be worked, a bit like a lurcher forum ,if youve got a world beating working dog thats as ugly as a sea pig take it along and have fun, who cares whos judging as long as theyve got eyes, its just a bit of fun and i take my hat off to anyone who is willing to give there spare time to help out within our community and keep tradition going

    bosun yes mate theres still dogs out there out of james stuff, that have been bred back into the line, im off to see one this next week thats got dj blood running through it yes its had out crosses but its only got collie and greyhound in it, i think the most common dogs of dj had rosie and griff in them but im sure if you was to ask the right person at the right time you could get lucky and get a pup

    albert , i think if your after just a collie cross lurcher to lurcher breeding id look on collie curs like thats allready been said but off the top of my head look out for, typp ratcher, stuff , david james, or plumbers stuff, all collie greys with nothing els in them if thats what you want mate

    hi just a bit of a bump, the pups was bred in egremont, ive just been reading a book i have again on the acd its by narelle robertson and its a really informative read she sums the cattle dog up 100% and has good info on how the breed came to be

    JUST made my day got 2 of these but mine are brass i paid 15 pounds for the pair i like the brass ones best so if theres any cheap ones for sale

    yes the water retriever, i think alot has to do with were you live country wise and dare i say it fashion i mean this in the way of supply demand and popularity of said breed,I had a austrailian cattle dog cross wich was not the norm over here but a fantastic dog and a shame not more of them about however in austrailia it is the most popular breed

    ive seen 28 inch bull xs running around foxes barking at them and ive had collie crosses that would turn them inside out it all depends on each dog my old cattle dog cross used to love em and catch them good too

    hi troter , yours was the dog i saw mate, i think now there is some really good saluki blood about id say back in the some of it was hit and miss im not saying yours was by the way, but i think alot was your show stuff and the good stuff was imported in buy the lads who was working out in sudi or dubi or at least it was round here. when i was into the collie crosses i would never of thought or wanted to put saluki in the line but as ive got older and seen some of these dogs run i think it would be a nice mix my bull x has some saluki blood in it and you can tell compared to my mates who is ju
