I did enjoy the day very much I was using a 1/0 2 hook flapper rig to start with but next time we go it was planned to do a night raid lol the locals said it had gone quite for the last two weeks but a inshore blow/storm will bring in the fish so ill be weather watching now. We will go now once a week unless its fit for the dogs but will be trying a few spots up and down the coast keep you posted.

Had a trip out to Bridlington for a few hours fishing im pritty new to it all and just went for the craic im looking forward to getting out on my boat really and the fishing is just a bonus. We planned to go tuesday as it seemed to be the best forecast wrong lol it was cold and wet under foot from the snow but stayed dry although it looked grim at times. The fishing was slow but picked up high tide and we was getting knocks regular but no real bites we caught thirteen between us but most was too small and went back in. The four we did keep was only pan fry size and nothing to right home

Sounds to me like discrimination,Im sorry but we are a minority group yes, if we was another minority group and a councilor had said something that seemed to tar us all with the same brush for something that sounds to me like hear say and only that the public would be calling on him to step down, But add a fluffy cute defenceless wild animal into the mix and they get away with it. We certainly are a minority group who have no help from them that like to jump on a band wagon double standards country needs to give its head a shake.

I was out with kev one day and my old bitch (retired) snapped her tendon in her back leg jumping a fence and getting caught up, had it operated on and the vet was amazed how quick and well she healed. -

I have always had dogs of a size above 23 inches and never found size a problem, a few years ago I thought that size was not needed for just the rabbits on the land I hunt and went down to 18 1/2 inches then 20 inches I couldnt get on with either dog. One of my main problems was seeing things but the dog not being able to over white grass tusuks/heather and ive gone back to the 23inch plus dogs and im happy again. Not saying there isnt a place for small dogs its just that they dont suit me atb 2.8

The pdsa is a great charity for those that need it and its a shame that it gets abused like it does by people who just dont want the associated costs of having pets or working animals I think its a great idea to be able to get medical care for animals when you wouldnt otherwise be able to afford, anything that provides animal welfare is a winner in my book.
