Food for thought tc will look up them boats thanks
-
seen the sea hogs too they all look very alike to one another cjr ect what mono hull with a wide beam would you look out for I was offered a F A M E domino my dad says there a good boat but its been a long while since hes had one

Thanks for the reply I think stability over anything is key for me as the idea came about as I wanted to get into a hobby that the wife and kids could do with me the sixteen foot limit is so I can get it into my unit the opening is 8ftx8ft so could go wider on the beam but would be pushing it on length taking into account the out board and trailer I did look at a dory cathedral hull that was as you say tc full of heavy wet foam and walked away the pop bottles sound like a good idea I was thinking on the lines of polystyrene I think that was a dell quay

Decided to take up boating with the intention of doing a bit of fishing too, I got a 16ft microplus explorer to do up so I could get a feel for the job but really fancy a wilson flyer dory type boat so the deck space can handle more people with the stability of the cathedral hull but any others worth looking out for of this type ?

Testing the water here Air arms s300 in .22, boxed weaver 3x9x50 (jap optics) scope which wasnt cheap when bought mounts. sling mounts and silence, quick fill and gun bag in good condition shoots great. Im after a quad willing to take on a project none runner ect yorkshire pics to follow

I think the handler has a big part to play, you wouldnt expect a boxer to defend his title belt under the weather, or a athlete to brake a record coming back from a injury but yet you see dogs that look in poor health not fit or under fed being asked to do just that in many cases.

lol that about sums it up in a nut shell my mates is the same, I think I will look at getting a 2 wheel drive it will get me from a to b on the permo and im hoping it will get me were I need to go off road but most of the estates I go on have good roads across them. Ive looked at some 2 wheel drive quads on the net some chain driven some shaft but the one thing that struck me is a lack of rear diff on some any one know what they handle like

lol just seen a klf 200 for sale on gum tree at £150 with loads of spares sounds perfect but im fect if im going on a 8 hour round trip to fetch it. them lychoin things look crap but what about the quadziller or the yamaha 200 blaster

Thinking of getting a quad for the summer either as a project or just to have some fun on. This year ive been out with my mate on his kvf/klf quad pottering around on the permo doing a bit of shooting to say im impressed with its off road ability is a under statement but on road its not so good. What are the 2 wheel drive ones like off road And is there any quads that seem better value for money, should I steer clear of the cheap chinese ones any info would be good

I know a keeper who gets a new landrover every 11 months says there shite always got a problem the engine is the same as a transit but slightly modified to cope with departure angles ect he was on about getting a toyota but the boss likes british so he may well have the new one when it comes out, the 300 tdi was as good as it gets and the army still used this when the td5 came out, the landy design was good but dont compare to the jap stuff for reliability I was thinking of getting a land rover project myself for the summer id love a series 1 inch

Hi weasle ive only read a couple of pages but in answer to the first post, once apon a time many moons ago I used to be in love with the collie greyhound would not kennel anything els but now shy away from them as a good one could be the best dog youve ever seen a bad one can make you want to hang up your hunting gear. Im sure while out theres been many times were brains have come into play in the end result of catching but theres just one tail that springs to mind instantly. A night out was arranged and three lads went out round our local the rabbits are very thin on the ground hares eve

Ray I was once climbing a dry stone wall when my mate ran up and kicked me in the back of the leg, to which I said silly cnut what did you kick me for he burst out with laughter saying the feck you on about. I was a bit numb for about two mins but my leg swelled and I had a small bite mark I put that down to the adder needless to say my mates still take the piss the affects didnt last that long but the jokes still do

WAS up the dales myself the last two weeks finishing off the heather burning building a few new butts, the weather is so unpredictable going up the a1 from here weather seems to be clear start heading out into the dales its like driving into another country. Rabbits are breeding well drummers all over saw some just under half grown, I did stop myself last month when started to find young inside. but the grouse and ground nesting birds will be laying there eggs so its strictly closed season with the dogs. The keeper however will keep catching with his new drop boxes that I built and put in wi
