    The fact that the left wing media has launched a high profile attack on UKIP instead of , say, the monster ravers, E.D.L.. or others is that UKIP are the threat because people recognise their policies are sensible. The media fall into the Aristotelian logical fallacy of argumentum ad hominem........attack the messenger when you have no counter to his argument.......!

    Blue223..... I've now seen more of him (albeit on dvd) than his crabbers ever did. Not seeing him in the flesh never stopped their jealous comments, so why should it stop me giving an honest opinion?

    Just a pity this dog came so late on the scene, he would have been a rival for any of the old Forley cup winners. Well done John....your place in the history of British Isles coursing dogs is fixed for sure! We would have been delighted to have had you in our club!! (understatement)

    I don't often attend shows but just by chance I was visiting friends in Carlow yesterday and ended up at this show......nice to meet up with Kieran and his number one kennel maid, who gets more and more grown up every time I see her, Dessie and others!

    I only remember seeing that bitch once as an adult and that was when we called in with TT to take some pictures. I never saw her in the field so can't comment on her heart Ben, which is why I didn't!

    Not in the Forley Slip lead.....maybe you read about Blondie killing 11 from 13 runs in the comp (I think that was her numbers) but that was over a three year spell.

    K.T.'s Bill was Amazing Pharoah I think. A first class dog capable of 5 out of 5 in January according to John L. who told me he thought he was the best saluki dog in the country at that time....killed when a hare took him across a road, alas. He was Khan's litter brother. I think Amazing Ali was one of the litter that included J.L.'s Star....which killed 7 in one day witnessed by others...and the North east dog Cruise of Shildon.

    Seen E.C.'s Anna do 6 from 5 slips. He sold her to J.F. and I was lucky enough to see her do another 6 from 6 on a day we had out as guests on the land the Forley cup was run on. Breeding? Saluki lurcher of course.

    Aye Tony's bitch was the only purebred dog of any breed to make it to the Forley cup finals and she managed it on three consecutive occasions. If I remember correctly she was one of the last three dogs left in it the year Braddy's Roxy won.....the other being M. Q.'s Beauty....sister to Noonies Beast.
