OK it wasn't you who started about the price, but have a wee look at your posts on this topic before you start asking the mods to delete mine. I never questioned the lad at all, i know enough of greyhound lads round here to know what the score is. I'm not going to say anymore on the matter as it seems that a few light hearted comments seem to have upset you. fella it wasnt your comments i was referring to when i said they should be removed, most of the ones i was talkin about are mine actually but ye quoted them so i cant delete my own. the way the thread went with the price of them

i would prefer to go to the same effort in bringing on a pup from both a working beagle and working springer... believe me, if it was as simple as putting the two together and bringing the pups up with workers there would be no need to breed off working stuff. i breed this cross when i need to and they are off parents that work hard and not all the pups will make the grade so that says alot about breeding from non workers.......... if its not broke dont fix it, worker to worker = best chance of a worker, non worker to non worker = pet..... but slim chance of a worker..........

A tenner a rabbit, can you imagine!!! f**k me, I'd be breeding the c**ts farmers would be growing crops to feed them, more money in it Lol .Aye. Its hard enough getting permission. No chance lf there going for that price . ive no problem with permission mate, and anywhere im allowed go i look after the farmers by giving them a hand from time to time if they need it, in turn they tell the next lad the crack and you get more permission. it works both ways. they are making a tenner a go for years and anybody involved in ferrits, lurchers or greyhounds know the price of them. i know other l

nobody knows when they are going to die so judging it that your bank balance is zero the day you kick the bucket wouldnt be so simple!!! im all for spending but not every penny, everyone needs somthing to fall back on, plus if you kick the bucket with nothing left then you are putting a hefty expence on sombody else to bury ya!! at least 3 grand for an average funeral and us hunting folk tend not to do things by half measures so in reality it be about 10k!!!

the way i used to work was i would catch to order, maybe 20-25 per week max. there wouldnt be enough customers to buy 12 a day.the young lads local to me are doing the same now, catching to order and 10quid a rabbit. there is a grey hound gallop out the road from me and the lad that owns it always has alot of lads comming galloping dogs and most give a bunny after the gallop so he used take a good few every week and have them there for lads if they wanted em. just because you dont know about it baw doesnt mean it dont happen. i bet there are loads of lads on here that will let you know how muc

we have a bitch that is eventually just after comming into use, slightly older than yours, after a lot of enquiring and questioning she is going the same route as you are going with your bitch roybo, to a top coursing dog. she exact same cross aswell actually 3/4 hound 1/4 bull. i recon they should do ok on all sorts...........

the lad is right, its 10 euro a bunny round here, it goes up a bit at times to 12 but thats only during the summer when lads arent at them as much. they have been a tenner for years, i bought my first van on live rabbit money many years ago.....

true , but your genes do play a massive part in your make up, how body breaks down the food. For example I can eat+drink what ever I like and would struggle put on 1st in weight, I am 6ft go 12-13st at most, my parents were the same slim people could eat+drink and never put weight on. My wife far to heavy for her height, but we eat the only 2 meals a day, and nothing in between. So why does she carry weight and I don't, yet we eat the same amount of food , infact some day I eat more than her. her parents carried weight as well not like mine . ? bird i cant comment on everyone's c

i wouldnt agree with not wanting to improve your stock, no dog/pigeon/horse or other athletic animal is perfect in every aspect of its confirmation and performance. if your happy with a bitch then sourcing the right dog that will compliment that given bitch and hopefully add the good characteristics from both parents and the end result theoretically being as good as the parents but maybe have slightly better qualities and as a whole be slightly better in there given field. im breeding as soon as the chosen bitch breaks down, 10 year old 3/4 hound 1/4 bull. she is going across the pond to a
