  1. There you go matey, you can see where the abcess was on his side. I'm not happy about that. It has spoiled his devilishly handsome good looks
  2. Really dusty mash is supposed to be mixed with water
  3. Beware of some of the ones which start out cheap. If you do make a claim they shoot right up. Rude boys current insurance claim is currently at £2,049.00. Thank god for insurance or i would have had to sell a kidney
  4. Get layers mash instead. I mix other food add a bit of garlic/oil. The mash then sticks to the food they prefer, that way they still get the nutrients they need from the layers also.
  5. Redmills tracker, i use it the odd time i give my dogs dry food, it is 20% protien http://www.redmills.co.uk/uk/greyhound/products/product/?id=540&parent=439
  6. I was out on a days' ratting last year. My lurcher grabbed a partrige, and i whoop, whooped "His first feather" i excitedly proclaimed. Then it dawned on me i was one one of the biggest shooting estates in the presence of the keeper He was good about it thankfully.
  7. Rude boys season finished 3wks ago, collapsed lungs, severe cellulitis, was in the vets for 11 days, lost him once on the table. He's not even nearly right yet. Still nothing compared to some of the dogs above, bless you Steve. horrible thing to happen.
  8. Get a better bag Good going for this late in the season
  9. Good going Well apart from the cut leg, i now firmly believe some dogs are just born unlucky (injury wise)
  10. Had a discussion about them a short while ago http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/227764-metal-detecting/page__view__findpost__p__2369280

    Asperger's

I wonder how many times someone who has autism has been diagnosed with psychopathic tendencies and viceversa. A lot of the symptoms can fit both categories.
  12. A mong in the Northeast is slang for an idiot, i think the name is derived from Mongel
  13. Stunning looking lad, only about another 2+ years till he clams down
  14. moll, you are a breath of fresh air! love reading about your days out! Thank you Gem
  15. Just a handfull of the Lurcherlink dogs needing homes... http://www.lurcherli...forum/index.php All different, shapes, sizes, ages and types, all need good homes
  16. That is a compliment coming from you, considering what you normally tell people
  17. I am dying to get into it Jasp. But i want an all singing all dancing one the kind which tells you what metal it is and the depth, i don't want to end up digging 4ft for a rusty old nail every hour.
  18. It is open to abuse Marv. Plus you end up with threads part removed which make no sense, then pages of people asking questions about it
  19. You will probably know him, i think he might live near you...although not sure? Called Steve, in his late 40's = 50's, plays bass guitar in a band. A smashing bloke
  20. You get a lepto jab in with the parvo jabs you get when they are pups, BUT....they only cover several strains of it, not all of them. I have always taken pups along to ratting when i could, you will probably find it will be a bit overcome by the whole thing and watch, perhaps joining in a bit at the end? Mine were more bothered about playing than working, but that is ok also, they are still getting used to being out with a pack of dogs who are in kill mode with no aggression displayed towards other dogs, a good way of socialising them. Get some hibiscrub, and give any bites a good wash with
