  2. Have you tried Ebay ?? I got an 100w bulb off there, changed it from a 50w in an old lamp, not a Striker. Same bulb though. ...........And has as been mentioned, the 100w doesn't make the lamp brighter.
  3. Look lads. Just use one of your boot laces, that way you only get done for possession, not dealing. Difficult to walk though.
  4. There's a couple of Coppers who live across the road from me, both got dogs. One of them comes Mooching with us now and again. I asked him what he'd do if he found someone out with the lamp. He said as long as they hadn't got anything with them that they should't have, then it would be on you way. Hope he's on duty next time i'm out.
  5. Well at the end of the Tournament i think the best team won, although it was touch and go for a bit. All came down to the kicking again. Weepu went off, then Donald took over as kicker, slots his pen. Trinh-Duc misses his. Had he made it, the last quarter would have been exciting. Here's to 4 years time.
  6. Nice one If thats as bruised as the Rabbit gets your onto a winner. Mine......................Well, they look nothing like that.
  7. We've given you someone to slag off when every sporting tournament that we've won and you haven't comes back around. :tongue2:
  8. Nice photo, is that Blencathra in the distance ?? If it is, we were on holiday in September very near where the picture was taken.
  9. Have one on me chap. Happy Birthday.
  10. I was in a GoOutdoors advert a few years ago, just happened to be in the store while filming was going on. Got interviewed after the All Blacks had trained at the Rugby club i played for, (We got to train with them and do some scrummaging) they were their before their game with Italy in 1991. Was shown on Central news.
  11. We did our course's at Moulton college in Northampton. Maintainence, cross cut and felling, that sort of thing. Can't remember the numbers though.
  12. He's not very popular or well liked in Wales, put it that way.. ..........Or New Zealand after the last World Cup. (Missed a forward pass, apparently) He seems to whistle Leicester out the game when he's at Welford Rd too. But I might just be a tad biased. Who's reffing the final Mal, do you know ??
  13. Did any plants have Blight ?? Iv'e had the same thing happen to some of my Potatoes and i think i'd got some Blighted ones in the bag. Sent most of the rest soft. Mind you, they'd smell awful aswell. Arch.
  14. When my folks got married my dad never had a Wedding ring, he had a watch instead. I now wear that when we go out. He also dug up a Gold ring in the garden a long time ago. After lots of searching it was found out to be a "Posy ring" about 400?? years old, 22ct gold. My wife now wears it as her Wedding ring. On a personal note, all my Rugby ties and my County cap.
  15. Here's the link, some guy on there seems to know the rule about Spear/Tip tackle really well. According to him, the IRB informed Referees to work from a Red card down for tackles when the legs of the tackled player go above his head during the tackle. Thats what happened when Warburton made the tackle. Didn't it ?? I think he was unlucky to be sent off, but the sending off wasn't the reasom Wales lost, it didn't help, but not the reason. Any one of the missed kicks going over and they would be in the final. You'll need to scroll down a bit to find it. http://www.ukhillwal.../
  16. Iv'e just been reading about the same thing on another forum, according to them the ref didn't have a choice. The IRB told the refs to be strict on the spear/tip tackle before the World Cup began.
  17. Im GOB~SMACKED ..................... THE WELSH RFU what the F2CK WHERE YOU LOT PLAYING AT ALLOWING THIS TOO HAPPEN , SURELY THEY COULD OFF STOPPED THIS ON MORAL GROUND'S .... SUBCONSIOUSLY THIS REFEREE MADE A DESICION FAVOURIN HIS OWN COUNTRY , well who can PROVE THIS WASNT THE CASE ???????????????????? Where as a neutral ref in charge it could off been put down to GENUINE HUMAN ERROR ............. NOT NOW :censored: The ref wasn't French, his father is though. Alain Rolland is Irish, he's even played for Ireland, Scrum half i think. He can speak fluent French too.
  18. Fook me, don't the MOD supply you guys with weapons anymore. Got to resort to buying your own now. Stay safe guys.
  19. Just finished watching the game. I'm not one to have a go at referees, they only get one veiw of the game. However i think Rolland got the sending off wrong. Yellow yes, Red no, it could have killed the game straight from the start. Luckily it didn't. Wales played very well and were it not for missing kicks at goal and not trying for a drop-goal, they could be in the final. Iv'e said it before, youv'e got to kick your goals, simple as. France only did enough to win, i can't see them winning next week no matter who they play. Hard luck Wales.
  20. Well just off to work now (Do people still go to work these days ??) Don't tell me the score will you, Sky plused it for later. Best of luck for all teams this weekend, but just a little bit more luck for the Froggies. :tongue2:
