  1. Here you go. http://www.return2fitness.co.uk/Supports_And_Braces/Elbow_Supports/Tennis_Elbow_Supports/epicondylitis-clasp/ My hunting partner uses one. Irritates him a bit after wearing it for awhile, but works for him. Iv'e had it before and went down the Cortisone route, yes the needle hurt, but sorted the tennis elbow out.
  2. Ossie learning to drive. And my desktop.
  3. No disgrace in losing to the better man. "It's better to have fought and lost than never to have fought at all"
  4. I'm on call on Christmas day so it'll just be a normal day for us. Boxing day will be our Christmas day. I don't think Christmas is that special nowadays. When i was small it was the time when you got your new bike or big game. I can remember putting "stars" next to things id like in me Mums Littlewoods catalogue. Nowadays the internet does it for you. Instant shopping, no having to wait till Christmas or Birthday. I do like cooking Christmas dinner, that's probably the best bit for me, but we are a bit short on family now, so it's just the four of us every year.
  5. Another vote here for waterproof socks. I wear them with Inov8 trainers when hill walking. http://www.inov-8.com/Products.asp?PG=PG1&L=26 One thing to consider with Gore-tex type boots/shoes is that if you do get water in them, it's not going to get out. So wet feet all day.
  6. the robbing feckers want £75 a pair now the last one i had from there were only £40 better of at neils warehouse Iv'e not long chucked a pair of brannies away, had them years but they had gone all mouldy whilst in the shed, so lobbed them. At least we get given decent boots nowadays.
  7. I was born in Nottingham. My Heart says Froch, but my head says Ward. Come on Carl.
  8. er....if you ever need a hand to ....er...........check condition.........er...make sure nothing is going stale...etc....etc... Sure, if your ever this way your more than welcome to drop in.
  9. Before all the H&S sh*t came in, we used to buy ex-German army boots for work from a place called "Irish" If you were unlucky you got a brand new pair. Christ, did they hurt.
  10. I like my wine. Turned an old wardrobe into a wine celler, 75 bottles. Perfect conditions in there too.
  11. Aldi do some good ones, http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/product_range/productrange_wine_cellar.htm Just out of interest, how much would you pay for a bottle on Wine ??
  12. Here; http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=hgv+theory+book&tag=googhydr-21&index=aps&hvadid=8608763600&ref=pd_sl_7l9l22nvt8_b It's where i got mine from.
  13. I'd try and get the olive off and start with a new one. Saw the olive cross ways with a junior hacksaw being careful not to saw the pipe, then split the olive with a screwdriver. Put new olive on, three wraps of PTFE tape on the thread of the tap (Going the same way as the thread otherwise it will come off) and tighten it up. Was it frost damage VDL ?? Could be something else if it is, split pipe maybe.
  14. To be fair the pub is a sh!t hole tho Do you know it ?? Coz your right.
  15. Our local is on the way home from our weekend mooching route (Honest). We go in with my two and my mates two JRTs. All four completely shit up. The landlady couldn't be friendlier. Never been refused.
  16. Nice pictures, especially the first one. Well worth the wait.
  17. Mick, I use this. http://pixlr.com/editor/ Open the image off your Laptop you want. Click on Image on the top black line, then image size, resize to 600 in the top of the two boxes, click File on the top black line and save. Make a new folder on the laptop and save all your re-sized pictures in there. Then you can select the photo you want from there. HTH, Arch.
  18. Rugby club reunion dinner today................Ouch!!

  19. That first step outside the back door with the dogs. Especially if the missus has been chewing your ears of about "all" the things in the house that need doing........... Trouble with that one is, you've still gotta come back home to it all.
  20. Shoot the fu*kers, and as many as he can. I know lots of lads who have scared Cormorants off with a shotgun........................ It's a strange one this, because before you could get a license to cull the Cormorants, the owner of the fishery would just have to stand there and watch his livelihood disappear before his eyes, and they are only inland because there's no fish in the Sea any more, or is it just easier fishing for them ?? Nah, just shoot um.
  21. Well wasn't going to do any Sloe Vodka this year, still go lots left from last year. But picked 2kilos of Sloes (Still masses about our way) over the weekend after coming across 3 1/2 Litres of Gin in the garage loft i didn't know was there. So iv'e now got that "Stewing" in the shed. Happy days.
