I use a 7ft length of parracord. A loop big enough to get over my wrist, double the other end through the buckle on their collar and wrap the end around my fingers a few times. Then just let go. Works for me.

Depends which France team turn up on the day. Just watching the analysis and predictions on ITV. They're predicting an England/NZ final.. Have they not been watching the tournament or what? Yeah I thought the same, NZ in the final, not sure about that. :laugh: England could make it to the final, they have not played well at all thats true, but the've got to the quarters by playing crap. If, and it's a big if, they can up their game, they could get there. However i don't think a Northern Hemisphere team will win the final. England to beat France, Ireland to beat Wales.....

Well what a crock of shite that was. England looked like a lamped Rabbit at times, no idea and no plan B. Flood to start, don't pick Lawes again, Easter back to No 8. To much relience on kicking, and not very good kicking at that. At least give it a go. If you loose, so be it. But to loose and to have just rolled over, pointless. Now bring on the French, who are probably slightly worse than England at the moment.

Iv'e often wonderd the same thing. However i can't see how it could get stronger. Spirits are distilled, so adding Sugar "should" only make them sweeter not stronger. To do that you would need to distill the spirit again. I think.

Nice story, and i think you did the right thing. Just to throw a spanner in there. If the dog had been handed in to the Plod and the lad had got him from a Rescue centre or similar, then the dog would have legally been his. What would all those posters who said "I'd have taken the dog from him" done then ?? Just a question.

I went to a show back end of the summer, loads of dogs on show, 15 in the overs, same in other classes. The working Lurcher class was one of the last to be judged, most of the show dog lads/lasses had left by then. Only 7 dogs in the class......................and i still came nowhere.

Better performance by England today, although the penalty count in the first halve nearly wasn't. The All Blacks looked like they did a job on the French second team. Could the Argies pull of a shock win tomorrow ?? I think so.

Iv'e often wonderd this, but for another reason. I'm a terrible sleeper, so i go out early rather than get up early the next day. Iv'e been out early in the morning when on holiday and seen a few about. But i only lamp lateish at night now. Went out at 9:30 last night. Went local and was back for 11:30. Not the best night for it, but a few out. Would i have been better setting the alarm for stupid o'clock ??

Put it all back together and get a new dimmer, then change it like for like. Or if you can't wait, put the Red into the White Terminal and just use the other switch untill you've got the new dimmer. Turn the juice off to do that though.

Feck me that is old wiring, i'm 46 and White was used before i started. Right then. If you can, turn the lighting circuit on on it's own. Leave the rest of the fuses out of the fuseboard. Now the tricky bit. Undo the Red and touch it onto either the White or Blue terminal of the dimmer. The light should come on, if not go and switch the other switch on, then try again. If still nothing, get the whole house re-wired LOL. (Joke) If that doesn't work then i afraid you'll need someone to have a look your end. Arch. I recently got a new fuse box so they are marked lights and sockets.

Right here goes. Once you have taken the dimmer switch off, look what wires are there. I'm guessing but there could be a cable with a Red, Yellow and a Blue wire in it. Or the same wires and another cable with either a Red and Black (Marked with a Red marker or not) or a Red and Red.

Whooaa there. Take the dimmer of the wall first and see if it's that. If you're not sure what your doing you could feck up the whole lot.
