  1. Did the whole fuseboard trip, or just the lights ?? It should only trip the lights really, unless you have a fuseboard with an RCD and that is not a "Split load". IE, split in 2 sides, one for sockets, shower, cooker etc. The other side for lights. It just means that if your kettle goes faulty and trips the RCD, the lights will stay on.........Still with me. Are the downlights low voltage (110v) or 240v ?? Most downlights are low voltage and don't have an earth at the lamp, so probably blew the trip on over current, more than 5/6amps. If they are working all right now then apart from the
  2. My Tess got done on Friday, gave her a Piriton every day for the next 3 days. Soon worked and it made her more comfortable. Good stuff.

  6. Everything is early this year. We've got a row of Poplar trees on our daily walk that are losing their leaves already. We we're on holiday in Scotland in April and i was in shorts all the time. No Sloes like yours though Jasper. Still small here.
  7. Tess got done by one last night. Inside her ear poor sod. Piriton sorted it though.
  8. My Mum was having some work done on the roof of her house. It was nearly dark, i was cleaning off the Cement from the drive with a hose pipe and my now OH was walking up it to post an Avon book in the letter box. Nearly drenched her with water...........Now 16 years on, i wish i had.
  9. 3 years ago when Ossie walked up the drive and never left (Apart from the 7 days he had to stay in the rescue centre)
  10. We've been working down wind of the still smoldering Birmingham all day today, we're all stinking of burnt rubber Tyres and have stinging eyes. Went on all day.
  11. Looks just like mine did when it went of the that great moped graveyard in the sky..........
  12. Can't you tell the new season is about to start. Iv'e got one dog limping badly, and the other's got an eye infection.

  13. Iv'e tried FF and it works ok, but not on IE, still takes me back to the top of the page, any answers ?? Cheers, Arch. Edit; Just installed IE9 and everything seems back to normal ??
  14. Same here, just doesn't seem right to me. Sorry and all that.
  15. Right here goes. If i've scrolled down the Forum page to the Lurcher section and then clicked on that, then seen nothing i want to read (Unlikley i know) when i press the "Backspace" key on the keyboard, i get taken back to the top of the Forum page rather than to the spot on the page where i last was, ie the Lurcher section. Then i have to scroll all the way back down to the Lurcher section again. Wasn't like this before the upgrade. Thanks Arch.
  16. Can the backspace button be fixed ?? Every time i press the back button i get taken to the top of the previous page rather than where i was last looking. Then i have to scroll all the way back down to where i was. Only a minor niggle i know, but could it be done ?? Thanks Arch.
  17. Is the guy on the right in the picture sinking  He must be holding the heavy end......... Cracking fish.
  18. We had our loft converted in 2000. Cost about 15k. There are loads of things to consider. Does the loft have Trusses or Purlins, ours had trusses and we now have 9 12x6" wooden joists in the loft, 2x2x2 bolted together to hold the new floor up sitting on the outside load bearing walls, (Trusses are not strong enough to put a floor on to them) and the same for the roof to hold that up.(With extra wood joined to the remaining trusses to make then thicker) Then one across the ridge. We needed a Steel beam across our house because the 12x6" wasn't long enough and they needed to run two length ways
  19. Imagine moaning about a spelling mistake...................moaner!!! Moaner.......HOW DARE YOU. Like i said, i wasn't moaning, maybe whinging a little, as opposed to whining which is worse than moaning in my book, but moaner no way. Glad we've cleared that up. PS: Has he changed the spelling yet ??
  20. Ohh,....Youv'e spelt "Popper" wrong. It should be Pooper. I'm not moaning about it though, just pointing it out like..........
  21. Why post something like that?? After a few seconds you could see what was going to happen.
  22. They were cutting Oats last night...........Till the combine broke. Fixing it this morning when i took the dogs out. No Wheat being cut near me.
  23. Seen some round here that have turned Purple already, very small though. A long while to go till October when i usually pick them.
  24. I liked the fact i could alter the number of posts the site would load up. 40 posts per page, so many topics per page, so no, so on. Can't seem to be able to do that yet.......here's hoping. I realise change is inevitable, but try and keep the better bits and upgrade the poor ones. Can't copy and paste from another site/page either.
  25. Well done. But the proof of the pudding is in the eating............. For pudding read cake.
