    If its the same one I watched it was early nineties and one of the other programmes was based around an NRA bailiff and salmon poachers i think it was 1993 NL I can remember the salmon poachers one prog was on a vet and another a shepherd. Got me scratching my head now Was the series called Countrymen Think there was a deerstalker on one episode aswell Memory like a sieve lol... Thats the one NL

    Thats the one neil. i cant remember the otter board.He fished for charr of a boat.Your right about the dynamite he worked on the quarries all his life.He was a mate of donald campell who tried to gain the world water speed record(Bluebird).The book is intresting about his life army days,quarry working,charr fishing ,poaching etc.
