    My old beardy first cross was very durable. Some dogs are plain unlucky regarding injuries.

    i read a old book by ian niall called around my house. He tried to breed phantams but failed. In the book he said he was fairly sure the cross could be achieved but had so much going on i dont know if he pursued it further.

    :in the early 80s a few old lads used to let me tag along learning the game. Used to tell me of the pre myxi days they are now all under the sod but some sport they had back in the day.

    One thing my old beardy cross had was a superb temperament . Was not a world beater but a dog that really tried and gave his all. i enjoyed every moment owning him many happy memories with this old dog.
