    ive not noticed a rise in popularity. in the early 80s onwards i knew people who had them or had owned them 1/2 cross to 1/2 cross also a few with beddy/grey to 3/4 grey 1/4 collie.

    For little mooching outings out of the way i use a military fold up spade not the best but can do a job. They make them now which has 3 adjustable lengths up to 24inch but folds up in a small pack.

    I think it was 4 and died from meningitis.

    Plummer used rusty as did quite a few people who bred collie lurchers back in the day.

    i should imagine they will LM the bedlington gene pool is i would say is relatively small.

    The best bedlington /greyhound i have seen was when some local fellas took a grey to j. piggin to be lined from i think floyd around 1984. My old mate took a dog pup on. ive watched a fair few 1st crosses since them times and he was the best of the bunch.

    The dam was said to be Gutchcommon bred but i have no breeding history of her. Here is the sires ped there is some lakeland and border way back.

    He has been a good little dog for me Fred going a bit downhill now. A pity they dont last longer.
