    I've always used goats milk, I had the misfortune to have a bitch that needed a C section this year and I mentioned goat milk to the vet who gave me a cynical smirk and laugh ! I should of gone with my heart and put the nut on the fat bitch

    I watched a programme on the TV a couple of days ago, it was in America and they were raiding an illegal cockfighting ring. They burst into your man's yard, took dozens of healthy "BEAUTIFUL" (their words) cockerels and proceeded to kill the f***ing lot !!! Me and the wife were gobsmacked, I'm quite sure given the choice those chucks would of chosen to continue their healthy living rather than die.........WTF do these people get through their heads ? I'm in no way condoning cock fighting but surely to God, if you were raiding somewhere to stop cruelty you'd have a better outcome than death

    I've opened a heavy vixen up that had 11 inside her, I've had a nine once to. Dug and shot , I was just curious what was inside them, I couldn't say they'd of all made it to adulthood.

    The worst I've got locally is Sandbach, you've got to dig as wide as you go deep or it'll just keep slipping in. The stuff around me is compact until you break it up, at my point in life I'll take the sand over the clay all day long. The stuff I saw I Dorset was completely different, green sand just like the shit in an egg timer, the terrier lads down there kept well away from it.

    I've had one collapse on me and one really bad dig in Sandbach, it just kept collapsing. In 30 plus years of digging I've only had a handful of near misses, you leave the sandy places for us old fellas

    He's not been used on a lot of bitches mate, I can only go off her and she's ready for work now. Her litter sister is looking well and she's also marking, the other's haven't been out yet that I know of.

    Not my usual thing to enter them young but this is the same bitch I was talking about at just gone ten months old. Easy place in sand, the deepest mark I've ever had was four foot and with her blood I thought I'd try and learn her to use her voice.........it didn't work, she's just as dull as her sire.

    I never take a youngster digging, the only thing I make sure they know is the scent of a fox and more importantly the whole wide world. It's no good taking a youngster out that's never been in a car, quad, whatever, they should know every sight and sound of the countryside before they're expected to perform in it. I've been trying to load a small video of a young bitch I've run on, she's seen a couple of dead foxes as she's grown up and that's pretty much it apart from walking her out letting her hunt cover and take it all in.
