  1. Busy weekend in the kitchen, now doing a chicken roast dinner.
  2. I know I shouldn't wish for them, but would love to have them in the river at the bottom of my field. Then I suppose I wouldn't have lots of brown trout.
  3. Within an inch at a hundred yards. I sold the pulsar thermal scope as it was doing my head in. I'm sure if I can find one with conventional turrets I will get on a lot better.
  4. Morning all. Are there any other thermal scopes other than infiray that have conventional turret adjustments? I simply cannot get a fine zero with buttons.
  5. Thanks Ian, but could you please expand on that?
  6. Spanish peasant food night again . Going to be warm as I chopped in 2 big red chilli's that are supposed to be medium they ain't
  7. Presumably you are one of the Russian trolls?
  8. Evening all, does anyone have one of these or have first hand experience of them ? I like the fact that it's zeroed in the "traditional " fashion with turrets that you can actually achieve a fine zero which I was never able to with my pulsar.
  9. Definitely go for it, brilliant kit and ians the man to get it from. I literally have one strung round my neck right this minute on a rabbit job. I am over the moon with it.
  10. Evening all . I am going to buy a spotter, I have been putting it off for months. So my requirement is.... I don't need to see stuff in the next county! I don't need WiFi or cinema production. I just need clear images of fox out to max of 300 yds, squirrels in trees, deer in woodland and rats in barns. It seems the axion xm30 gets a lot of votes? Any other real world experience advise? Cheers for looking.
  11. No thank you, but cheers for the offer. I am pretty much retired now.
  12. I used to do the moles for Chris at Okehampton Castle till they said I had to take on your patch too , he couldn't understand why I wouldn't want to go up to stonehenge and old Sarum every week from Cornwall. I told him I was quite happy just doing the South west for them, his reply was unfortunately Jamie its all or nothing, so I no longer do their work for them.
  13. Supposed to be out shooting foxes tonight for local farns about to start lambing. Weather's crap though so having a few "crafty old hens" instead.
  14. I had to buy a mount in the end which sorted the problem. I'm still not very impressed though. Focusing has to be adjusted for the smallest change in distance, the pard add on is very forgiving.
  15. Obviously a man of taste all round
  16. Unfeckinbelievable . The system is broke beyond all repair! There is no hope.
  17. Only seen this hassle hoff potatoes thing last week or two, this looks by far the most appealing version I've seen. ? I think I know what we will be having for tea one evening this week.
  18. I've ever only made this once, it was intensely rich, but very nice too. Might give it another go.
