  1. It's all part of the plan!
  2. I always start the day with a cup or two of Yorkshire tea.
  3. Earl Grey is like pee in a cup ? like chamomile.
  4. How seriously do you take it? Are you a instant out of a jar and pour boiling water straight on to it? A Costa / Starbucks only type person? A cafitaire or moka pot and buy the bags of freshly ground? Or are you an " the whole hog officianado "? Buying freshly roasted beans, grinding your own freshly for every cup and keep your beans in the freezer or fridge? And using a cafetiere or moka pot? Or the ultimate coffee lover that spent two grand Buying a counter top machine like one of my mates. I love freshly ground, dark rich roasts swinging fairly equally betwee
  5. First roast of the year, must say it myself it was ansom, even the boss said it was great ?
  6. The bass pro near sister in laws near siesta keys has the most unbelievable display of mounts, struggled to drag myself away from there and the mahoosive fish tank display to actually buy anything.
  7. What on earth is going on in here? Stupid gobbling off, personal insults? This is why a very knowledgeable full time pesty left after abuse once he became a mod, he was a wealth of information. Some of the best , most knowledgeable snarers, trappers etc all left because they got fed up with gobshites who knew nothing spouting off. This forum still has a chance to survive and a wealth of information if only the tit heads wind their necks in.
  8. It's completely ridiculous that it's not allowed.
  9. I like that, bit over engineered wouldn't want to carry thirty around ? as mentioned the rats will climb the arm if they get a chance. I had one that the springyness had gone out of the pole and the rat chewed through the 4 strand brass snare. These fencing poles I use are ok, but soon take on memory, also a big heavy rat really makes them sag.
  10. Been out for an hour here everyday in the wood at the bottom of my field since taking possession of my precious, tonight's tea is courtesy of it ( marinated pigeon strips in pitta bread), had 3 squirrels also.
  11. I have a 95 sfs spectre, I have no idea what Tony wall does to them but the difference is night and day from the original from the factory. Don't listen to the rubbish put about by imposters about cylinders filled with grease. The trigger is better than any I've had on top end steyr rifles, the firing cycle is soooo smooth. OK the waiting time is long, but its 101% worth it.
  12. Evening all, bought this off a customer today, he bought it 8 years ago and fired around 50 pellets since new. .22 flavour hw95 lux if the picture doesn't show it that well. Came with a crap twenty quid scope on it the shop had sold him , he decided he just wasn't any good at shooting and put it back in the cupboard for years till it came up in conversation while I was billing him for moles. It's an absolute minter, really pleased with it. Needless to say I knocked a bit off his bill.
  13. And why not? It's not that big ?
  14. While I've been prepping the full Sunday roast here this morning I decided to knock up Tuesdays tea, well part of it. I knock up my own hot sticky wing mix and like them to marinate for at least 48 hours. These will be had with sour cream, corn on the cob and homemade garlic bread. Tomorrow will be cold beef cuts and bubble and squeak left over from tidays roast.
  15. Mate gave me some sausages from his last weeks pig, decided to try my first go at toad in the hole, used Scott reas batter recipe, my onion gravy was possibly a little overly rich, but still happy with my attempt overall.
  16. She deserves a long leisurely retirement, well earned.
  17. Funny enough it smells awesome, tast that one tomorrow for lunch. Thanks for the tip.
  18. Today's efforts, my first ever at making pastry. Supposed to be cheesey flakey, but I over worked it a tad, so more rough puff. Anyway it worked. The tidy one is the first pie which is roast chicken and veg, the untidy one made from left over pastry is left over roe bourgignon from the other night. Me and her were very pleased.
