Where possible I try and leave sport for wiinter night's. If you are under pressure from land owner it's not alway's possible so I used to show him the odd rabbit at a distance which was alway's a few when we next spoke. As for the other "stuff" wouldn't touch them treated them like a crop wanting the max to be about those dark night's.

The anti's appear more organised and better equiped season after season also more of them. Student's in some area's given cash and mini bus to attend meet's. These donation's may explain this. How we combat this I don't know.

I agree it's about concentrating on today not looking back on what's already happened or what might happen in the future. The here and now like most thing's work's for some but not all.

If you could put a tenner in a tin once a month for vet bills but DON'T touch it easier said than done I know.

They make good pet's but often out live their owner's ending up in rescue if they are lucky.

Going off the point a little if you kept geese for table use would you use an air rifle to ensure a humane kill. I just dont think air rifles are up to a clean kill. Geese are tough bird's in more way's than one. Regard's, Phil.

Shropshire born and breed but when out with a gun Idon't feel as comfortable as I used to because there is alot of anti gun feeling around. To many people will call the police these day's just because somebody has been seen carrying a gun or heard shooting. Cheer's and beer's, Phil.
