  1. Serial number, 1018048. I believe it to be a 1980's model. I have only recently purchased this gun withthe intention of having it tuned. After researching tuning cost's Iam leaning toward's going down the new route. It has a few age related mark's to the stock but overall is quite good in view of it's age.It comes scoped with a slip.   2. Woz is in Shrops he does a fair bit. If you really want to have a go and are not sure where to start. Just ask, everyone here who does long netting is willing to help. I would recommend you have a read of longnetting from peg to peg by Martin King. It is a good book on long nets, it does not go into the tactical usage of the nets just the basics, how to set up different types of nets, how to set them in the field.   5. Back up the truck boy's, I have no doubt there are skill's in netting / trapping. I couldn't see the sport element.

  14. Tough bird's the old woodies . I sometimes wonder if sub 12lb is up to a clean kill in many cases . For example angle of presentation for a head / heart shot. I leave alot these day's for another day when I know I have a better chance of a humane kill. Just a thought . Yours's in sport, Phil.
  15. I don't quite follow you Simon, why would you use 5.6 mm in a H.W. fifteen years old. I only ask as I have a 80's H.W. 77 (proper job) in .22. Thank you, Phil.
