That's the way I've done mine in the past ... take em to a nice spot dig the hole throw some food down its all over .. I couldn't handle sitting round the vet's . Its the only way,the people about that have the dogs consideration above all else will at times walk home from the field with the heaviest heart and tears.

My ex ordered me to get rid of the mutts, ive missed years of wasted opportunities to be a good husband and father because of the fecking jukels, holidays, parties, weddings, school plays, christenings and funerals have passed me by because of the cause,i regret some of it now.If i had my time again with the dogs id regret more. The facts are that ill never be recognised as the best husband a wife could have,id be happy to get in the top hundred, ill never be recognised as the best dad by some of my kids, the ex made her choice, yet ill be happy enough to have worked the majority of my mutts to a standa

Its a well known fact that they are not the hunting dog of choice because they lack to much in the field.IF they are worked to their working potential they are as honest a dog,in the field,as many. The problems arise when the Whippet is portrayed as the ultimate hunting companion, the same problems never arise when the Whippet is portrayed at what it excels at.Im a big Whippet fan, especially with the honest posts a Whippet owner on here posts.Id not own a Whippet,or a cross because of what they lack in the field,id own one tomorrow if i hunted within in their honest constraints.

Plummer Terrier Putting On Up For The Lurchers
morton replied to bunnyboiler's topic in Bushing Dogs
I expect the bushers and the lurchers to "pile in",the ones that don,t id not feed for long.Id not stop a bushing pack from wrecking their quarry,it would be like offering them water with a lid on the bowl.Anything they chase and wreck is par for the cause, especially pest species, anything i salvage in time goes in the pot or freezer. When a team become accustomed to the other members its common for the pack to relinquish certain quarry to a dominant lurcher,or else, the team become accustomed to such and react accordingly at the catch, other times and other catches they "pile in" ,anything reluct -
Who gives a toss?,have you a litter to sell?.

As would i,yet a mutt needs to encounter lamb before its ever stock trained. The nugget who started the post was on a wind up or the usual feckwit with an un-educated lurcher.I despise with a clear and lucid mind the feckwit minority that are unable or uncaring enough to give a mutt basic education, especially around stock, its not the dog that needs a bullet its the inbred parents that spawned the feckless feckers.

Its not a big ask,its what the mutts bred to do,if it cannot id re-evaluate the breeding.Im not saying mine can do it 7 days a week 300 days a year,im saying 2 or 3 times a week is easily attainable for most bushing terriers and the ones that get out more often than that i applaud. thats a different story 2 or 3 times a week shouldn't be a problem to most bushers. Its not a different story, how many bushers EVER work more than that?,how many hunting jukels ever work more than that,on a regular basis?.Every time my bushers enter the field they run a marathon, ive seen many a terrier str

Ive yet to meet that farmer, ive become mates with a few that have a better regard for hunting dogs because of what they have become accustomed to seeing with my jukels.I can walk land around me that farmers are reluctant to give me permission on,they stop and chew the cud when they see me,ask about the dogs etc.etc. and we part on honest terms, often until the next time they see me take a short cut over their land hauling a conie or 2.I cannot walk the local roads and lanes without a farmer passing with a toot or a wave.Thats what proper stock educated mutts get for some of us.
-
I do a lot of mole control for local farmers, the majority own sheep, part and parcel of my mole control is that i exercise the mutts at the same time and the dogs often accompany me on my trapping forays,at times they run the odd bunny, the sheep, the lambs, the mutts and the farmer are educated to this.Ive yet to upset a farmer because of it,because my mutts are educated and so are the sheep, familiarity.Any farmer that does not want my mutts on the land pays a far higher dividend for his mole control, mates rates are part and parcel of my hunting life and the vast tracts of land that im allowed to

I walk, work and encounter Sheep on a daily basis,as do my mutts, the sheep and the mutts react accordingly and it bothers neither party.I totally agree that the vast majority of mutts should not be around fat Ewes ready to lamb, yet if they are not they can never be truly broken to stock. Its easy enough to break a mutt to sheep, its another lesson breaking them to lamb.

Honest looking crew.

WHY stay clear of sheep?,id not run a dog through them, thats the practice of feckwits, yet id never keep mine clear of them, possibly because they are educated to NOT FECKING SEE THEM AS PREY.The inbred retarded feckwits that don,t have the sense to stock break a mutt do more damage to OUR sport than any other, especially when they think its the norm for a mutt to chew wool.

thats rubbish worked small terriers all my life never a problem the only time they slowed up was when they were older took longer to get over a days hunting, any terrier would be knackered working cover everyday, Every terrier might,Beddy,s don,t,fact. beddys dont what fact I should have stated proper working bred Bedlingtons and not the dross that masquerades, falsely,as a Bedlington.Ive owned and grafted a multitude of terriers, often lineage unknown, ive yet to find any that have the stamina of a Beddy or its hybrid.A retired Beddy bitch here grafted on her own,for the lurchers f

Possibly because he,s posted on a forum set up to share and debate, the debate part lends a clue to members input.£300 for a mongrel busher is fecking greed, when greed comes into producing workers its often the case that the work factor comes second to the dollar.Greed is the ruination and downfall of working jukels.
