Brian Glover, his first film role,Colin wellend,i thought he wrote Kes,Brian as the PE teacher and the football scene, classic.

Ive nothing but admiration because you put the mutts welfare first, well done and i applaud you for that,i wish others had your commitment,YET,removing a tack is something the average working dog owner SHOULD have the aptitude to deal with,or learn to before needless vet visits empty the wallet, again you have the dog at heart, well done, others have the same feelings without the same financial outlay. All my dogs are insured Morton so not an issue. For me a tenner a month is worth it. We will beg to differ on this one as without being on the scene in truth I don't think you can make the call but

He is KC and all his pedigree says such, the best working Beddy ive ever owned was more KC than anything else, that was a long time ago before the breed became fecked with KC,hopefully yours will stand up for the breed.Who bred it?,drop me a pm.

Yes.A nail in the foot is the least of what some have to deal with, don,t get a working terrier.

I could possibly narrate word for word the whole film,a little like Bohemian rhapsody,id watch it again tomorrow and still be enraptured.

Our Jud.

As you say he is not KC and the majority of his breeding is where do you go from there?.All the best with the Beddy and i seriously hope it all works out in your favour, i just wish working Beddy owners would do a little more research at times and put the extra effort in,at times.

Good write up,yet i despair at times when a trip to the vets is not needed, working dogs get working injuries and the owner as to learn to cover such situations, not having a pop mucker but you need to learn a few basics.

I used to own biting ferrets then made the next step up.

Ive a Lakey that chews, screams and causes utter destruction unless it sleeps at the foot of my bed,ive upset the neighbours with her barking, repaired a run or 3,bought a new freezer when she destroyed the workings of one and put a rug or 4 in the bin,ive finally found a place she won,t destroy or yap in,i wish i had more foot room at times.

I was in Iceland today and they have a venison range that was £7.50,a tiny piece of deer that i thought was more dear than the content.Im not one for expensive cuts of meat that i encounter for free,Japans out of my hunting range, ill have to get a Bull x.

I owned one like that, destroyed everything she laid on,i went to a game show and looked at some of the indestructible beds on show and challenged a vendor of these to let my lass have 10 minutes with one in a confined environment, she tore an hole in it in less than 4 minutes,i spent £2 on some pliers, yanked her teeth out and have never had a problem since.think I will save the 2qid cos I'm a tight arse and lend your pliers then mate An house brick does the same job,a little messier, for 7 pence you cannot expect clinical removal.

Ive a daughter called Kes,that film left a bigger impression on me than any other, bloody daughter hates the film, ungrateful mare.Ive owned at least 3 lurchers since i called Kes,i tell my daughter she was called after my favourite dog, she,s not as impressed as her dad.

Me.neither fu k that All my kids grew up with terriers and lurchers that ratted and hunted other things,i lost the odd jukel because of their hunting lifestyle,i never lost or got a kid sick living with them.

Kestrel nests were not safe for a while after Kes,we all had one, happy, happy days, not always for the Kessy perhaps.

Id love to trace back the ancestry of top coursing lines, well some of them. Then the final destination of many a stolen jukel may come to light .

like any job, if done properly it will last. Its when its done halfheartedly with bits of branches, it results in a mess. Ive found its best to fill the hole with what came out, compact it and throw a little more on top from the spoil in the other entrances, the occupants have an habit of being able to dig and excavate to their satisfaction.

There,s me thinking he,s posted on an open forum for advice about a stud and he,s been offered another option, doh.yes he did asking for a greyhound lolIt's always the same when people ask for greyhounds, or when max has offered his greyhounds for stud before on here, the same happened then with people saying they shouldn't use then Im not for one moment telling the lad not to use a Greyhound stud,im saying there are better options, far, far, far better and cheaper ones, its up to the lad what he wants as an end product and his reason for going along that road,im telling him that there are oth

Im blessed as i come from Keighley and a brewery that as won more awards than any other,Taylors Landlord, with good reason.I bought a bottle of 3 Monkeys a few months ago, smoooooth on the tonsils.
-
That was in the ,s,ill guarantee there will be better coursing bred studs about now that would be far more suitable at producing Coursers than a Greyhound ever will, its breeding two steps back to walk forward in the next litter,Greys are second rate studs all the time,at best.

My all time favourite film,it was more of a documentary on the life we grew up in than a film, well some of us 60,s children.
