    I know of a farmer who beat a rival farmers cow to the point it had to be pts cause its back was broken after it strayed on his land, farmers are an odd breed (i know, im married into a farming family) It was probably a big misunderstanding, likely the fella was told your were someone else for a windup by the fella you were talking to?
