  1. Thanks both, maybe my best option is to have them both castrated and just borrow my mates versectomised one when she is in season? Thanks
  2. Hi, I have two males and a Jill that all live seperate during summer, if I get one male versectomy and one castrated will they be able to live together all summer next year? Thanks
  3. Thanks all. Appreciate your comments. Dan
  4. Hi, just a quick question, and I will follow this up with my fire arms officer to confirm, if my friend has a open licence and I have a closed can I go to his ground that isn't signed off but deemed fit by him and shoot under his supervision? Thanks Dan
  5. Hi Elliot, think I pulled the trigger when removing the bolt causing the pin to fire, then when I put the bolt back in it wasn't holding the hammer part of the bolt back? I just removed the stock and put the safety back and forth and it seemed to fix it, not sure how or why but it seems ok now, not sure if that's any clearer, have you had that happen? Cheers Dan
  6. Hi, I just got a new anschutz, I think I've acidently de cocked it while removing the bolt and it no longer retains the firing position when the bolt is down, any ideas of how to fix it? Thanks
  7. Thanks for the advice. I'll get on to it.
  8. Hi all, I applied for the grant of a fire arms certificate in mid November and haven't yet heard anything, is it too early to chase them up to be sure nothing was lost etc? Thanks
  9. Considering he posted on the 27th and its now the 29th I thought it was a fair shout, he'll get loads of replies now to prove me wrong! Ha
  10. Try posting on this different forum you don't get many people on this one I don't think. http://www.gundogtrainingforum.co.uk
  11. Hope you get her back, bloody thieves!
  12. I was thinking the same thing! Was a interesting post.
  13. Trouble is given enough time they will take everything from the countryman. It should be a law that you can't change countryside traditions.
  14. It says 70 % of animals caught in snares aren't the intended targets, so if I set 10 snares I will get 3 rabbits and two hedge hogs and 5 cats? Is there survey conducted in a city? I hate the thought of ferreting being taken away, this country is a huge let down.
