    A mates bitch used to be a good deer dog (wheaten/deerhound/bitza) took goat as well, another of his mates had the offspring of that bitch sired by a sal grey.. He was doing well but had to stop hunting deer not long after he started thanks to our last gov bringing in the ban on deer... he just shoots them now

    Is there any kind of hydraulic yoke out there to lift carcasses... Im embaressed to say I often have to get help to hang em, last carcass I did I didnt even hang... Just skinned it on kitchen table Some kind of hydraulic hook thingy would be beyond handy

    I have nothing to gain from this when I tell you ive heard nothing bad when it comes to hogie, tinytiger or chid21... They are reputed to keep good animals and I dont think you could go far wrong in dealing with any of them.

    good reply It brings up another question however... Why not then wait until a dog has started working or has started coursing before mentioning the breeding behind a pup?

    if you just put a picture of your dog/pup usally the first one or two replies goes, nice dog/pup hows it bred so i reckon thats why people do it. but isnt it a big fall if after all the excitement and publicising of a pup if it jacks, after all wouldnt it be public embarassment as well as personal disapointment??

    Why do people put up the breeding behind their pups on thl or similar sites? Is it for some kind of street cred??? Is it an attempt to "big" a pup up so it becomes some kind of legend even before its coursed its first hare??? is it attention seeking? what if your wonder pup jacks? What if it draws the wrong type of attention ie dog theives? just something ive been noticing a lot of lately... Thought id bring it up as a topic for debate

    Ive got him on 2 meals of gain puppy and sapling per day and 1 meal of heart or tongue or chiclen wings or fish or even poached egg

    Im finding him a learning curve to say the least but ive worked hard at building a bond with him, ive started obedience training with him hes smart but stubborn hes 10 x harder to rear than any other pup ive had... Never seen a pup so damned independant, was at my nerves end yesterday... Im gonna be grey by time hes ready to work

    Had a ferreting whip x collie that could be called off but she jacked My current pup... Sal x grey id say no chance as hes a willful little fooker, hes smart but only does things on his own terms, dont know if its typical saluki behaviour as hes my first sal x but Ive been warned bout this x lol

    An elderly neighbour "mick higgins" had a small merle collie bitch well known in the area for her hatred of foxes and she wasnt mucj bigger than a fox... Dont know what happened to her as she disapeared after mick died, she wouldnt touch a cat though.

    Fook me, ferret was probably not long escaped and smelt something tasty so bit first asked questions later Wtf were they doing for 25mins? Tickling the ferrets arse??? 2mins at most and id have ferret off the child.
