    Ok.... Check her throat for foreign objects, use a torch to get a good look, if you cant see anything check her gums are they pink? Check her temperature... If temp is normal and gums are pink take her to vets later, if not vets now!

    Instead of all of this cloak and dagger stuff leaving folks wondering....Si had an operation yesterday to have a brain tumour removed. It just goes to show what a top bloke Simoman is as no-one would have realised by the stiff upper lip and good humour he has still shown on here whilst his eyesight faded and he must have been absolutely 'shitting a brick'.     Guess im pretty lucky, apart from trying to cut top of my thumb off its just been few cuts and bruises im pretty good around electric fences, been bitten by ferrets, got a nasty bite off a feral caught in a snare a couple months back...

    I did exact same lol, wasnt hard to find deer x grey, what was hard was to find one with 3 or more gens of working parents/grandparents... knowing they are slow to mature I didnt want to buy a pup from questionable parentage and then 2-3yrs later after putting everything I have into the dog discover its no good, dont know much about salukis having never owned them before but was advised that the litter my pup is out of will do everything I want and a lot more. So touch wood it will be a good few years before I will need another lurcher

    Cant believe people are compareing goat meat to fox As long as ye dont try and eat an old puck and go for nice young nanny or puck kid its the finest meat you can get, just like lamb but sweeter. I prefer it to lamb.

    Does that include fish too? Pigs will also readily eat meat, and surely there can't be many people (the unwashed, fluffy bunny brigade veggies apart) that don't enjoy a good bacon buttie? Im one of the few that cant eat bacon (bad experience with dodgy bacon as a kid) Hasnt put me off pork though, im very fond of deep fried scotch eggs.

    How much saluki in that x Gem? Hes not a first x and theres a bit of deerhound and irish terrier in there as well all though its not a dominent feature in him, percentages wasnt my first priority when I chose this pup.

    Didnt intend to say owt but seeing as the cat is out of the bag, im glad surgery went well for ye monday, take care of yourself and herself and kids, feck everyone else, make sure you eat right you'll get better quicker.
