    Dont think digging dogs should ever be chipped in current climate. Its not as though you can call a dog out if the shit hits the fan. At least with a running dog you and dog can high tail it out of there if youve hopped the fence. No special treatment for digging dogs it like I said all dogs should be chipped if they worked or not Thats your opinion.... I still disagree.

    If its stolen its as simple as going to my vets and registering the chip... But should my dog be doing a fenton for example it wont be of benefit to the authoritys when proveing ownership And yeh id try and get my dog back..

    Other option was to microchip but not register the details unless he was stolen? My vet hates paperwork he will prob se/d me to his p1actice in town to fill in tje paperwork...

    I was at vets other day and microchipped my husbands working collie I didnt do my pup as i havent decided if its a good or bad idea yet. what is everyones thoughts on microchipping lurchers? My thoughts were that if my pup "accidentally" chased something it wasnt supposed to and ended up in ispca/guarda hands id be fooked if dog was microchipped as it would lead them to me On the other hand if he was stolen the microchip would be a useful tool in recovering my dog What should I do?
