I think your question should be is my lurcher good enough to be bred from? can I find suitable working homes for the pups and ask yourself what your motivation for breeding a litter is considering the quantity of lurchers in rescue centres and pounds. If your dog / bitch has proven itself over several seasons then perhaps 5yrs old

  12. Im sure ive read somewhere that the yanks have a kind of tracking device on some dogs as some kinds of hunting they do the dogs can be out of sight for hours

  21. A dog that could easily take daytime hare, large numbers of rabbits, occasional deer and feral goat would be a dog worth having Not bothered for fox as I view an alrounder as a potfiller not a pest controller...
