Out the front door, when I moved into this house there was a leveret in the back garden that I had to confiscate off my jack russel and rerelease and a common lizard living in the house im surrounded by fields and forestry.
Im with you 100% kittierox problem is most if not all rescue workers are brainwashed pet owners that see a lot off ill treated
lurchers and terriers from the dregs of the community and then pin the label on everyone
Rspca propaganda doesnt help the image either
house with couple hundred acres and a 14ft wall around it, stocked with deer, pheasant, wild boar
sheds full of vintage cars, jeeps, motorbikes and a tank, state of the art stables and kennelblock
my reply was a general one, the overpriced mutts remark was a response to the 1500 spaniel bbb mentioned
and i still maintain theres plenty of curs in the pound with tenacity and prey drive to make decent bushing dogs
and as for having issues, any dog that has been passed about usually has some issues including adult working dogs
down to vets for abortion jab would be kindest, ive even done it with my bitch when she was caught by a good dog of same breed because i didnt want pups at that time let alone an unplanned mongrel mating
cant believe this thread has gone on so long or that there is such petty people that will bicker about the breeding in a pup, not like its a dog at stud lol
good luck with your pup
nothing to do with the stockbreaking issue but if you dont want to hunt an idea for your older dog and your pup when it is 12mths + would be a lure machine, would help channel that saluki instinct and energy into something both yourself and the mutts can participate in.
yawns seen a few curs, farm collies and pound terriers ratting and bushing heavy cover, just cos your overpriced fancy mutts cant cut the mustard it doesnt mean im wrong
i like em cause they turn ordinary people into jumpy, blithering idiots that run around flapping and squawking over a tiny insect, quite entertaining really!!!
