  2. one of my permissions has a large sloped bank that can often mean a straight down dig of about 10 ft but because of the angle of the bank its often possible to dig into it rather then down to it sandy mostly so not that bad most of the time id rather wait for them here though. only dug it twice though mostly most digs are below the 4ft mark
  3. trouble with dry food usually is keeping the weight down personally i would not use cat food not best suited to ferrets digestion could be worms i suppose if they wont put weight on or just skinny ferts i have to watch the weight of mine through the summer when they are on the dry asthey usually pile the weight on if not watched closely.

  6. digging is a part of ferreting unfortunately getting the amount of digging to a minimum is what you have to work out there are plenty of methods to reduce digging but it will happen sometimes i have a ferret that will kill and move on and also a number that will stick with a rabbit till they are bored or i get to them all of them have a place in the team.
  7. front line spray is the one you want but you need to get the ticks off first with the remover then spray them to get rid of any that you have missed otom tick puller is the one you want dont use the spot on if you can get the spray the spray is far superior

  16. could be the ferrets arnt going down to the lower tunnels so they are not working the full warren. or it could be that they are getting the run around by the rabbits a 3 hole warren can contain a lot of underground pipe work. as to the ferret popping in and out its the most annoying thing they do i find. the only cure to this is to let the ferret totally out of the hole then try to pick it up what ever you do dont grab at the ferret while its doing this other wise you will end up with a hole sulker and it will be like this for good if it persists try a bit of rabbit to tease it out of some fer
