    had it happen to me about ten years back 2 hobs both snipped fine one day head and tail of one left the following day in less than twelve hours and they where well looked after as with all my ferrets

    personnally i would not go without any collars anymore nothing to do with the fact i dont like waiting for a ferret thats layed up its if i loose one i have three kids and and wife to contend with at home 60 quid for a collar and an hour digging is better than three weeks in coventry lol

    got poleys here but one of the woods i ferret is real think canopy and the dark ferrets can be hard to see but as long asthey do there job it dosent really matter allways had albinos till now

    reminds me of a dig to a red un once when the only way to get the dog out was to drop me down by me ankles to get the dog out everyone else thought it was funny apart from me at the time lol

    yes mate they work fine but like every thing these days they can go not allways the same faults either and only deben seem to be able to repair at the minute

    in need of a mk 1 collar to copy have the ability to make new collars we think just need to be able to check a few bits of the design does anybody have a knackered mk1 collar that they can pass this way if i can get them made there will be one in it for them cheers muddy

    20 or so nets will soon turn into 40 or so nets its addictive lol ;)

    col thats looking good for your first attempt by the third net you will be wondering what all the fuss was about. you will run out of twine on your needle this should not be a concern just try to do it at the end of the row if poss. your net needs to be at least 3 feet long i go for 21 meshes long and 15 wide these purse a beauty at 2.1/4 inch mesh. Instead of watching agoutis video listen to them as you do the knots might sound daft but it works.just concentrate on the row you ar doing and nothing else pull all the knots tight one by one and keep a check of what you are doing slow and steady

    thats for the bellman flint collars i beleive as its the same as the avalance system ferret collars should be somewhere round about 160 hz i beleive if i can find out i should be able to make up some new collars looks like i will have to go to the radio shop and beg a use of some equipment cheers forthe reply darbo

    good stuff lads stories like that are good to read regards to the lad on his first rabbit he will never forget it. ive just started taking my young one hes eight and a bit impatienty yet but he enjoyed his trip on sat. like you said though good to pass on the experiance to the younger generation.
