i have used the .270 for all deer, pigs and also a bull strangely enough and as a one cartridge fits all its possibly one of the best out there bullet selection is paramount i have shot sika with this and dropped them on the spot but i have also had them run on and on inspection heart has been nothing but jelly and blood shot placement is key if you want to drop them on the spot. i personnally go for the boiler room and have the dog with me for follow ups

Headshots Not Killing
muddy210 replied to DeepEarth's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
sounds to me like the rifle is either not powerful enough for the range your using it at or the pellet is not hitting what you are aiming at or your aiming at the wrong point. as said on the first page stop shooting live targets and get it checked out -
a dab of anything is not needed to remove ticks with a otom tick puller no lighter fluid no petrol andno vaseline. just use the otom tick puller as directed and hey presto it comes out as the saying goes it does what it says on the packet.

there should be no need to scruff them or flick their noses just handle and handle some more they will get the idea let them enjoy been handled and have no fear of your hands then they should stop biting if you flick them or scruff them and cause em pain then they will learn to fear your hands. you have ferrets yes they will bite when they are young and maybe when they are older in some circumstances.but getting them to not bite is all down to handling them in as many different scenarios as possible let them run on the grass then pick them up pick them up from the hutch and put in you carr

get em seperated quickly during the breeding season they can get up to all sorts and can become quite agressive towards each other -
frontline i think is working as the ticks are to small to use the large otom puller on and dont seem inflated like they do when they have had a good feed they are still flat ill just keep going with them and hope that i break the cycle like you say cheers

small hob that i took in after it was found has a recurring problem with ticks. hes been treated with frontline all the ticks have been removed and hes been put in a new hutch. they dont seem to be causing him any disress but its bloody annoying that i cant get to the bottom of it i even puthim in the shower the other day see if it helps locate more ticks this helps as its easier to check the skin as the fur becomes easier to see through. have frontlined his cage and given it a good going over with the blowlamp hopefully i have done all that i can to rid him of this problem. anyone else got an

and also if you only breed one ferret a year your telling us that you have a european black eyed white micro but you charge depending on the darkness of the poor things coat is this a f*****g wind up or what
-
only a peddlar would sell his EU's depending on how dark they are its about time the mods got involved here and get removed

you can have the best fox calls on the market but they dont allways work. getting a fox to come to a call is a matter of using the wind, using the call properly to imitate the animal you are trying to be usually a rabbit. and a host of varying other things that can crop up. all the stories you read about the fox came galloping upto the whistle without stopping are true to some extent but only sometimes. i go out frequently with a team that have been calling foxes for a very very long time and have seen most things related to calling foxes.... BUT we are allways learning and trying differen
