    RSPCA

we had one knock here, I just told him to feck off, alot simpler
  2. its called rat tail, more common in hobs, but have had jills with it too, It'll grow back
  3. you ever felt a kitts teeth they are design to eat flesh and bone, dry is ok if theres nothing else, but as suggested, rabbit, pidgeon, squirrel etc, and if not shop bought chicken, dont go for mince, to mutch water content in it
  4. put with a hob for one day only, or left together? if left together, the true date may be different to yours but its still early yet, Ive had them go a week over before now
  5. total newbie to decoying here too,so may be wrong, but I thinks they are the same, isin't it a flapper thats battery operated? had the same advice myself, on not getting a rotary, plus it saves lugging lots of stuff around/after you
  6. My daughter bought me one of the funniest birthday cards I have ever seen. On the front was a picture of a bloke wearing a white coat, stethoscope round his neck, lamp on a headband. He's leaning forward and saying "Have you fallen, hurt yourself or had an accident in the last 12 months?" Inside it said "Of course you have Dad. You're old, confused and you drink too much." Luv Maddy. You've gotta laff! RicW the best one I saw/bought, I turned into a picture, as it made me crack up everytime I read it, it had a picture of an old man on the front, with the words, as much as they
  7. looks good, how much per blind if you dont mind me asking
  8. thought I was doing you a favour mate, by locking it and putting it in the pinned section, as when I saw it, it was getting further down the page, and may have gone onto 2nd page where some may not have read it
  9. in the area your setting the trap, what are they eating there?, as if it was a chicken run, thus eating pellets, you'd sweep up spilt pellets and bait trap with these if just trying to catch in a rat run, try peanut butter, garlic sausage, snickers bar
  10. have ben told only to use fibre wads rather than plastic, as the plastic can get caught in the barrel holes/mod

    swaping guns

just because its a hunting site, dosent gurantee you that every member is 100%, after all, we know the police and anti's look in, as we have said in the past, with selling/buying/swapping, its down to YOU! buying/selling use paypal to give you some gurantee, swapping, do face to face, your then seeing the item in person, testing out, surely that only leaves the individual to blame
  12. good pictures pat, good to see you left inan to do the easy stuff, whille you took the pics
  13. the fact that it was caught using two pegs is whats unusual
  14. right I understand about following through and aimimg just in front of beak, of birds flying right to left, or visa versu, but watching a few clips on you tube of pidgeons coming down to decoys, have seen a few pidgeons imatate a harrier jump jet and stop in mid air, and come straight down into the decoy area, so would you just aim as though it was a stationary object, or aim below
  15. well after getting the pedretti hushpower 410, I have to admit to loving the hushpower, my one and only shooting permission(as yet), has a noise issue, but after trying to get some pidgeons with the 410, realised a 12g may be better for them, picked up this pedretti hushpower in 12g from a pidgeon watch member, along with 100 carts
  16. how does knocking it on the head, become kind yes, if it was in pain, dying, but becuase it aint going down holes my best workers took until their second year to mature enough, seems people want it to bolt rabbits, knock them on the head, and gut and skin a rabbit in their first months of life, otherwise its a no good ferret as for starving it, yeah that'll really work well wont it
  17. as the title says, totally new to this shooting pidgeons lark, have seen lots of ad's for magnets, floaters etc, but as a total newbie, the only floater Ive ever seen was in the toilet how do the work, are they neccessary to rush out and buy, or just and added bit of bling
  18. well Im hoping to take the kids over there sunday morning, help with the picking, theres loads of rose hips as well, so may get a bucket or two of them and try some syrup
  19. if its that overgrown and that many holes, snaring might be difficult, what about shooting, air rifle or shotgun?, live catch traps, mk6 fenn traps, or maybe a couple of drop boxes
  20. maybe you took pictures on different resolution settings, you normally get three options on a camera, low,med and high, its normally set to high as default, ie, every time you put new batteries in, it will set the picture quaility on high, which is way to big for here. go into camera settings, and set on low as default, perfectly good enough picture quaility, and you'll normally find the load straight on, without the need to re size/photobucket etc
  21. my daughters two pet jills are still in season, no injection, no snipped hob, and are running around like lunatics, alive and kicking, as rich say's, its an old wives tale, I would'ent suggest ferreting with her though until she comes out
