if it aint got the pin point knob on back of locator, then its a mk2 NOT!! a mk3, I wouldent touch it with a bargepole
-
it all depends on the dog, we have an 11yr old JRT bitch thats a great ratter, yet she knows not to go for the ferts and plays with my daughters two pet ferts in the front room all the time get yourself a tube of ferret malt paste, ferts and dogs love it, squeeze some onto the bars of hutch, so ferts and dog, lick it off at same time, dont expect results overnight, but doing stuff like that, plus a stern NO, if the dog ever gets to near/looking like it might attack at a year and half though your dog is probably still in the "puppy frame of mind"
-
dont expect an instant catch, although you may be lucky, rats are weary of new objects, so may take a while before you catch
-
nice one steve

I'll 2nd that, although mine was way cheaper than harry's around £25 all in, you get batteries with that one, and peace of mind if it goes wrong I suppose if either of ours go wrong harry, we'll have to order one from them
-
to aid you with digging, saves chopping a ferts head off with the spade

it must be areas that differ, I told the FAO, I'd never handled a shotgun, but I wanted it for pest control/humaine despatch of live caught foxes, unless me being a "pestie" had something to do with it, they issued my certification BEFORE I had even istalled the cabinet, just saying they would look when I bought my first gun

yes, I used that bottle as it was to hand and empty, depending on housing/siting etc, you could set up a header tank, with all the drinkers fed from it, fit a ball valve to the header tank then to the mains water, and you have auto waterers, probably would be problems with freezing, but if insulated properly maybe it could be used all year round
-
good point, but the water in the bottles or earthernware bowls freezes too, so not something new to worry about, I suppose I'll try insulating the bottle and pipe, as my ferts get checked every morning, it wont go unoticed, maybe a squirt of warm water into the bowl, we have chickens too, so they have the same problem maybe others will have simular problems/remedies to their livestock the cage that I have fitted this on, is only a temporary holding cage, a couple of weeks and he'll be moved to the block built hutches, which have alot more protection from the elements

I would have said yes, a few reasons, yes you may get nosey public, but then thats an oppotunity to educate them, putting the argument across that the rabbits are causing subsidence of the grave stones, would imagine most people would agree with your work, secondly you'd be doing a service for the church, more things may come from it example; a couple of years ago, a company put a post up on this forum, asking for a ferreter to ferret a single field in harlow, a one off, no longterm permission, about 15 replies were left to it, before I saw it, so I added my name to the list, a few months

if you felt the "cup" was a bit small, Im sure you could remove it with a dremmel without damage to the tap part, and simply have it above a fixed larger bowl

Does anyone feed there ferrets hole rabbits without gutting them ?

of course, mixy is NOT transferable, might not be nice to look at, but perfectly edible for us,dogs or ferts -
I like to think she remembered me, and my two sons, she definatly remembered her old name, although we have changed it slightly, shes getting on great, walks around like a tractor, barges through things, rolls on wet grass after getting out of the bath, stuff that drive my missus crazy, but my missus loves her, and would'ent part with her for the world, and her farts smell worst than mine  the dog, not the wife
-
as already stated, all that does is overheats it and re sets it, not actually fixing the problem, I mean, who wants a system, that you MAY have to wait four and a half hours to use

Id say its a good idea, had an english bull terrier bitch 10yrs ago, that had the ear tattoo, I sold her on and told the new owners it would cost £10 to have the name of ownership changed over, god knows how many hands she went through in those 10yrs, but battersea got in touch with me around 8 months ago, saying that they had my dog, looks like she's been through the wars a bit, she'd had a full hysterectamy (cant spell) when I had her, but now has arteritas in back legs, and battersea removed a few cancerous lumps, shes now on medication for life, but we have her back, all due to the ear ta

Ive got one fert that hates drinker bottles, so have been giving him a bowl lately, but its a pain, so spotted these chicken cups on e bay and thought Id give it a go, only cost £5 inc postage, connects to any type water container, the cup is around the sizes of his snout, so when the water is getting low, and he sticks his snout in to drink/lap, he pushes the tip with his snout/nose, releashing more water, if he gets on ok with it, I'll probably change all the drinkers to these...

I wonder if Matt Lucas regrets divorcing Kevin McGee?

well, Im not sure who harrythecat order his from, but the company I ordered from had them on sale at $9.99 plus delivery, by the time I had ordered another decoy and added postage, then converted to ££££'s mine worked out around £25 all included heres a link to a british site, selling same thing at alot more http://www.pigeon-decoys.co.uk/catalog/pro...products_id=242 but the place I ordered from, has stopped advertising them so looks like I was lucky
-
if the x clamps wer'nt there, I reckon it wer'nt new when you bought it, and someone had already done the x clamp mod,
-
we both ordered them from an american website, they shoot doves over there, the plastic doves supplied are about half the size of our plastic woodies, so although you could probably fit your own, Im not sure if the mechanisim of the motion controller could deal with the extra weight I just gave mine "tippex collars" hoping the pidgeons would'ent have a size issue
-
nice one harry, and you aint tried making the look like woodies, so just the "movement" was enough, the flapper that I got aint that great, low wind, no movement high wind, it takes off next trip out I'll try just the deeks and motion
-
although my firm put me on a course at bisley for our airgun certification, the rest of the lads simply did one at the local shotgun/rifle club, you could try asking at your local one

come off it, they aint that long 12 gauge 410

a 6x4 shed is plenty for 3 ferts

the towel trick all your doing is making it overheat and re setting itself, not curing the problem, the problem is due to the seal breaking between the CPU and the heatsinks, which is caused by overheating, theres lots of "cheap" fixes on e bay, most dont work, even those selling the x clamp fix bolts, are not suppling everything to fix it, they are 8 washers short... you need to remove both heatsinks, plus the x clamps, clean the joint areas on both the cpu's and heatsinks, apply some artic silver thermal paste, bolt the heatsinks back in place HAND TIGHT ONLY, re connect power supp
