  1. de breast them first, cut the breast into strips, fry and add to scrambled egg on toast, then give the pidgeons to the ferts
  2. wondered if I should have taken a leaf out of the "rat packs" book, when I found this lad waiting for me this morning in the trap
  3. well, after comenting on the snaring section this morning, about the "rat pack lads" letting the fox go from a live catch trap, I then went out to check my trap, and waiting for me was this nice dog fox now, should I let it go in the park as it's such a nice fox (even after taking a few of our chickens) or ........... the shot was taken from the flat of the top of head, entry hole around the size of a 5p, the picture shows the exit wound, size of a golf ball used a 3" subsonic, although a noticable bang, it did'nt sound like a shotgun, and a friend standing 25f
  4. good point roy, and probably the correct reason, thats what prompted me to apply for a SGC, purely for dispatching foxes in live catch traps
  5. did it get snared correctly, or was the wire around his leg
  6. just watched it myself, at the end of the day, the customer was paying them, he's gonna be thinking he was scammed, as the fox will be back, and he's just paid money for that,

    spiders!!!!!!!

made me think about a conversation I was having with a work mate last week, we were talking about shotguns, he says he has a 9mm "garden gun" a little shotgun for those that aint heard of them, when asked what he shot with it, he replied, spiders are good, but it leaves a few marks on the wall
  8. Id suggest looking in aldi or lidl, although not motion sensor, we got a cctv camera for £29.00 rig it up to a video recorder, long play, your get 8hrs out of a 4hr tape, then just forward through it
  9. you can snare them, Im sure Ive seen old posts on it, try doing a search, or someone else may know more, if you have no success, I'll happily bring my 410 over, lol
  10. Yep, that kinda how it has to be. What about when you got your trousers off hang them on my prince albert
  11. a new set of fork seals and dust covers for her hornet 600 but still gonna take her out today and get her something girly
  12. first set stays in my pocket, no matter what trousers Im wearing the spares, hidden, where no one would find them (I hope)
  13. thats ferrets for you... you could try fixing it to something heavy, but they will probably still see it as a game
  14. although ferts should all live together, Ive had the same problem, I have 5 jills in a large court, introduced 3 castrated hobs, and all hell broke loose, they now are living as two seperate groups in the same court, one group inside, one group outside, if they cross paths, they fight, they will probably get split this week, and just used seperatly for ferreting
  15. thought Id wish wasp a happy birthday now, as I'll probably oversleep in the morning, hope she likes the pressie, and I'll get her another when Im better.... as today, had my eye flushed out at the hospital, feels like there's a boulder in there, although they reckon, just a scratch, so look like a pirate with an eye patch, and its the good eye too so took a big chance riding the scooter into town to get a birthday card and pressies anyway, happy birthday wasp, love lots
  16. and who told you that the vet? if a snip is done correct, there's no way it will "grow back" think of us blokes, and the doc's giving the excuse of, well you have a high testostrone level, it grew back
  17. "spice" is the item your on about, they are one step ahead, and have already produced another item called "smoke" that is'nt on the ban list, of course they will try banning that too, but it all takes time, as quick as its banned, another non banned variation will appear on the market
  18. surely, this is only after you have caught an animal, the decoy side of a larsen, needs food/water by law as your keeping a magpie in there long term, but a live catch trap, that is being inspected every 12/24 hrs and then anything caught is being dispatched, has no need to have a water container
  19. is it the square sheep type netting fence,
  20. jasper carrot always recomended moth balls
  21. place the snare where the rabbit is passing through the fence or are you just placing the willy nilly in the hope
