  1. Great video, reminds me what a salmon looks like, having my worst season ever.
  2. The connector into the lithium battery is as bad as the cigar plug and the hard coily cable is shit. I replaced the whole lot.
  3. Your pup is coming on nice Harry as is yours chook. Mine is 21 1/4 Mates dog pup 19 1/2" Another mates bitch 19"
  4. I use 5 ply 6mm gaz, most 6mm is 3 ply. Never had a ferret doing this much damage.
  5. Gaz, it must be heavy mate. I know you already had the wood but that with 3 ferrets in will be very heavy. Just my personal opinion but I just use 6 mm and 3 mm for the back. The box below is 6 and 3mm, very light. I also use small hinges and bolts, everything to make things light. This box will take 4 jills easily.
  6. should be around £35-40 dependant on me getting a discount on the powder coating. i'll find out tomorrow when the invoice arrives. Regards Les Great price Les, you will do well with them at that price, Good Luck.
  7. The original, these are very light, just 0.9 of a lb.
  8. Look good Les, hope you do ok with them, you want to get some of them small ones made also mate, great for lightness, ratching about.
  9. Very nice dogs mate. 23/24" is a great size for a all round rabbit dog.
  10. Good day out mate, your pup will soon get into the swing of it.
  11. I like all the guitarists mentioned, depends what type of music you like best. I like the likes of Wilko Johnson and Mick Green, just the type of music style I like best.
  12. Some of the old bucks are a bit tougher to skin, European ones I mean.
  13. Your terriers aunt jumping the net.
  14. Good luck mate, hope you enjoy your day.
  15. thx lad I just wanted too make sure it was safe too do so ill just cut it and solder them up instead of connectors fed up of the 12v cig thing slipping out
  16. I gave him a ring on a few occasions trying to buy some netting. Ring you back later was a common reply, still ringing me. Waste of time, I wont be ringing again.
  17. I might work well for you, give it a go first mate.
  18. If the poles were thicker longer and pointed I'd of bought one last year , I do a lot of sandy ground so the pole has to go in a fair way . And I didn't think there was enough bagging for myself , apart from that for the price , fair enough. 100% bagging from nelson, in fact i,v tied mine at the top twix the poles to stop the bagging blowing to 1 end, buster. I tied mine in buster, then I took the knots off as the meshes went over the tied in mesh and stopped the bag slipping on the running line. It did not happen all the time but I did not like it. I prefer it free running.
  19. You cant go wrong for that price. will do the job fine.
  20. I chin them most of the 90% of the time, it is faster and when there is a lot bolting you can get it chinned leave it in the net and get another net on. Sometimes they are that pursed up you cant chin it so I would take it out and stretch it.
  21. Good price mate. Hope you get sorted with good working homes.
  22. If the poles were thicker longer and pointed I'd of bought one last year , I do a lot of sandy ground so the pole has to go in a fair way . And I didn't think there was enough bagging for myself , apart from that for the price , fair enough. I thought Nelsons were 100% bag. I would not use poles unpointed. We do pine woods were you need to push the pole in a long way so I only use 1 metre poles.
  23. 20 inches, will be six Months on the 8th of September. Had him out today for a wee mooch, took one Jill Ferret, and a few nets in my pocket, pup raised a Rabbit in a wood, lost sight of him, but found him marking the bury, popped in the Jill and a few rumblings, and one rabbit hit the net, All good experience, he is coming on fine. It will be no problem to get going that one, saw it myself a couple of weeks ago.
