  1. I am sure someone on here will sort it for you,
  2. Any of the above, they really is loads of them about,if its pure foxing buy something you can carry and handle, I bought the remi 700, and found it great for shooting from the vehicle,or sat ambushing, but a real burden to carry around the fields, till I had the barrel shortened, you don't need any special twist rates,a normal 1:12 will do all you want, but as for rifle there's no end to choose from, buy something modern easy to handle and remember, buying the gun is one thing you will have scope, moderator, mounts, and sling,to buy so the grand will soon go down, one thing Charlie caller men
  3. Does anyone know what gauge steel they use to make them, wouldn't mind a play about making something myself,
  4. I think redfield scopes are under rated, I had one 20+ yr ago and it sat on 243, then 270 it's been on 222 and 223, and it never let me down don't know why I sold it in the end, my mates just put one on his 270 I set it up for him, and to be honest it's spot on, they are worth having, his was maybe a little short, but they have generous eye relief, well worth a try,
  5. That's my rifle in the pic Darren, Not sure what the mounts are, they were on the scope when I bought it second hand, Don't think there's a name on them though Cheers, John cheers mate they are a pig to mount a scope on, and I can't find any mounts so thought I would ask the question, the profile of the grooves have changed now, and modern mounts won't hold properly, Hi Darren This, along with my two Lightnings and a Stutzen have the Dampa mount rails fitted, they take the rarer 14mm scope mounts, I can get the 11/13mm mounts to fit but then can't zero in as it offsets

  7. I use my stainless from flat pack quite heavily, in what I consider to be acidic soil, and to be fair they still look spot on, and they are 3 coming up 4 yr old, they have been worth the money,
  8. I know it's daftness, I paid £50 for a 22 and thought that was fair, I need some mounts for it though to scope it, and modern mounts won't hold position in them tight grooves,
  9. Hi mate what scope mounts do you have on that ???
  10. At least he went doing something he enjoyed, not suffering the indignity, of having to live in a old folks home, bit young at 50 mind. RIP
  11. I notice the guy selling it hasn't put much in the item description,
  12. Its good to see the women and kids involved,do you strip the teckle of clip its coat blaise
  13. They will take anything they can, like badgers and otters will, townies need to wake up and smell the bull shit they are being fed by do-Gooder's, how many people have lost cats and blamed the local lurcher lads, wrongly most of the time, bull shit fuelled by the RSPCA drama queens,
  14. They are bolb little shits, I think as big as a large pig might be slightly exaggerated, but nothing is safe from them,
  15. They need to let them die the way that's right for them, not for us, it's heart braking to see someone go down hill, to a point where they want to die, but it's there choice, there life and we should respect there wish, this world is too full of dogooders,
  16. It makes you sick these b*****ds preying on our kids its a regular thing this isn't the first time, nor will it be the last, the press should be back flipping over this, but I bet the plod have stopped them to control the public's reaction, if it was the other way around, they would be total outcry from them as said before. They are scum end of subject, they have no place in society,
  17. good vehicles i was told the only down point was they had soft clutches, farmer behind had his changes at 50,000 Suppose that it's a fairly bad point Not really the guy loves it, and to be fare he tows alot, so that won't do it any good, they recon the Dmax is superd, and i think thats my next buy, there's issues with them all, its like owt else a little bit of a gamble, but generally speaking they are good buses, I sat in one of the Chinese great wall things about a month ago, and to be fair, you could see why they are cheap, but it went across the fields well,

  19. I am chuffed they tried it, Matt well done for being a good ambassador to the sport, taking the time to explain thing to them,
  20. I didn't see any reloading gear on there
  21. I took it from what the general said his fox was shy,I agree when they are in there in,but some are shy to enter probably spooked beforehand,
  22. I put sand over the floor wire, and around the entrance to see what's turning up, by way of footprints some times it pays to fasten the door open and let them enter and take a bait a couple of times,to get used to it especially if it's a wary fox,but with the sand or soft soil you can see how close they become, to determine if there's a problem with the trap , some are trap shy remember this time a year theres plenty of feed around, they might not be pressured that hard till the cubs get bigger,if you can stick a trail camera up that will give you a good heads up as to what's happening,
  23. Who works the tricks out its really clever,
  24. They are scum, catch him it's well worth the effort, if you do let us know,
