Have set my first batch of the putanges, will report back how I get on. Dont think they will be my main stay, as havent quite got the knack of setting them quickly, but in sensitive areas think there be good addition. Got them from Laboratories Roman in France 18 traps and 1 x setting plier for 43.76 euro delivered about £32.00 -

Unfortuantly I seem to have different mole prices for different customers!! Over the years i have tried all manner of prices from per visit, per mole, £50 for first mole then £10 per mole, set price for domestic properties etc etc What is your prefered method for charging? is £50 for the first and £10 per mole to much to charge??

Mole Trapper Ive had the same farm, the farmer does not help - with rubbish all about and wheat galore stored in barns. This winter has been his worst for rats. I ve tried wholer grain wheat based rodenticide, blocks, pasta, but the adults just do not touch it, the young do and die quickly. Have tried placing the bait on runs behind boards etc to protect from non targets, in burrows but bait just not taken, in fact its just kicked out. . Main burrows are on private property so cant gas either Any sensible ideas?? to help control

Mole Traps In The Frost

Regarding markers!!! I loose loads of traps each year, some taken by fox/badger, some when the marker is trampled and moved by sheep etc. I do try and mark with bright tent peg markers in areas where safe to do so. Where public access is concerned I try and have pieces of wood etc covertly placed to remind me, at the time I am sure I will remember as it looks so obvious but the next day, its very different, sometimes I use a metal detector to help locate them. No easy method, as long the price charged covers the lost traps or at very least the cost is covered over a few jobs then I -

Étant évidemment un site français , il faut être capable de parler français , heureusement pour moi, je me sers d'un traducteur anglais / français sur google -

Not quite a mass invasion of wasps, infact just 1 queen wasp. A family had got in some logs from the wood store and put next to wood burner ready to use. A queen had obviously awoken and was buzzing around a lamp! Queen quickly caught and dispatched, certainly the earliest call Ive had for a wasp

Mice In The House
shropshire mole replied to Squirrel_Basher's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
I use the AF Snappa boxes, work well, particulary in public areas when control is needed and poisons not an option. Snap e Traps are in my opinion are currently the best on the market, very easy to set, have a little "pot" to dribble melted chocolate into or whatever attractant you want, they keep on catching and a good sell on to customers -
Curiosity, How The Hell Did Moles Get There?
shropshire mole replied to Tiercel's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
As said, moles can run at 2.2mph, swim and tunnel. I was told by an old mole catcher: sometimes you find moles/hills in the middle of a field and no hills anywhere in the rest of field or fields. Go back to middle ages, the field was probably many little paddocks each belonging to individuals. They may had moles and their runs, over time the paddocks have gone and reverted back to one big field. There may be an old mole run, which went to some of the old paddocks, deep enough not to be bothered by the plough that goes from the edge to the middle, moles use these runs and come up i
