Any lads on here know what these might be worth? I'm going to ebay them, but don't know what price to put on them.. been hanging around for years and we just can't get round to a full restoration job.. got a 30hp engine for one of them. Had one years ago and they've always been sort after little boats...

When a status symbol is considered more important than your childs safety then you have real issues, which I don't see any legislation changing to be honest. For your average joe bloggs there is no reason to own these types of dogs, reports say it was an American Bulldog, these are not your ideal family pets are they?? This is not about owning a family pet though, a dog for the kids to grow up with, this is a "look at me" dog, if it was a one off you could say it was coincidence, but this is happening 3 or 4 times a year now same types of dogs same types of owners...

Aint that the truth mate... Surely the increase of coke users has some bearing, whether its the debts they get themselves into or the affects of the drug who knows. But I do know that when we were first getting out and about in pubs, clubs etc I didn't know hardly any coke users.. e's were a big thing in the rave scene obviously but amongst my crowd that wasn't our thing... now if I go out pretty much half the pub is doing coke, from the 18 year olds to the 50 year olds... lads that I wouldn't ever thought would be bothered by drugs are off to the toilets for a line... I find it embarrass

Sounds like a cry for help mate... which is good! If the lad truly wanted to end his life I don't think he would be posting on FB etc.... it's a desperate situation when you can see no other option but ending your own life, the switch that must flick in your brain to go through with it must be so powerful, we are set on survival mode from birth, for someone to go against that true natural instinct is hard for most of us to comprehend.

Hard topic for most men to deal with, we tend to keep everything bottled up and talking about your problems is deemed a weakness. I think we all have our low points, life in general throws certain amounts of shit at you that you have to deal with, I think I'm pretty lucky that I've never been what I consider depressed. I have seen and been there through quite big parts of my life watching and being a part of the effects of severe depression. Good comparison with Benn mate, and agreed that as a "banger" he would still fancy his chances even when he was hurt....its a tough call for the corner but I just didn't see him being in enough trouble for the towel to come in... Yarde is still youngish and I reckon this is one he'll really learn from, still some big fights for him...

What a great fight.. Yarde really impressed, just the sheer resilience of Beterbiev and his class in finishing... I think the corner was maybe a little early in throwing the towel in as Yarde had looked in trouble a couple of times and came back well.. but they are ringside and can see far better than us arm chair pundits... Could be fight of the year already and we're not out of January! Lol

Exactly that mate, I'm "only" 46 but am probably in the last generation of people who hunted, fished etc as kids... late 80s through the 90's etc.. Kids of today aren't interested and the 20-30 years olds are in the main the first of they computer generation... Bans won't stop those that want to get out, but there dying out naturally.. .. its shit... we've all done our bit, taken the kids, taught them that food ain't just in a plastic wrapper in sainsburies, that pest control is an important part of rural life, caught killed and cooked game and fish etc...
