As much as we all can get sick of the amount of people who descend on the moors in the summer, I mean Spitchwick is ruined for 4 months!...there is still alot of us who use the moors responsibly, I agree with you first it will be no camping and the next it will be no entrance to walk even... I'm 46 and have been up on the moors since a child, walking, playing in the river, climbing the rocks etc... you are a little older than me and I know you have spent a lifetime up there... be sad for locals if all rights of access on certain areas are removed in time...

Depends where you live mate... For a few of us who live in Devon and use the moors a fair bit, its not ideal!

We played in a band years back, played Guilford festival and the Waterboys were there..really enjoyed their set We played the same time as the stranglers, I think they may have nicked a bit of our crowd! Lol

Seen OCS quite a few times over the years mate. This gig is in Exeter Corn Exchange, a tiny little venue probably only 500 or so capacity..should be a good one

For the lads on here into music, what gigs have you got coming up this year? My kids (17 and 15) are really into their music, last year we took them to see My Chemical Romance Fall out Boy Green Day Weezer Me my bro and lad are up to Cardiff to watch The Darkness in 2 weeks Then we have Razorlight (Liverpool, just me and the Mrs) Ocean Colour Scene (Exeter) Artic Monkeys (Bristol) Blur (Wembley, kids Xmas present all excited for this one) The Dubliners (me and bro taking my dad) Kids get a good variety lol

Mad that Sean... what a sad state of affairs eh! I've no idea either mate, I just crack on and do what I can without getting too hung up on it all... had the first 2 jabs (as I've said before) mainly so I could get back out working easily and so I could travel as we have works abroad which we were travelling to (USA, Dubai, France etc), I couldn't really afford to wait until all of the restrictions of other countries were lifted so took my chances lol! Never had a booster, had covid defo once maybe twice so working on immune system will take over now, was rough as f**k over Christmas

As long as people see Labour or Conservatives as the only choices it will never happen, I voted conservatives last time as I couldn't stand the thought of Corbyn in charge of the country and Abbot anywhere near a cabinet role... Did they all die from problems associated with the jab mate? I mean if 2 had cancer and one got run over then there is no connection,,, I'm not taking the piss by the way as I have no care on the pros and cons of the jab, it's a mad real life statistic if they all died a sudden death from unknown or previously un diagnosed issues! RIP to your friends mate as that is way to young to die whatever the reasons

I quite like the fact you still get taught your language, keeps some national identity imo...same with Irish... I think money is wasted in far worse ways than trying to keep up traditions/indigenous cultures... Still a load of gurgling and spitting at the end of the day though lol
