  1. Got to agree with that Paulus We have far too many leeches in this country, when you can make more sat at home pumping out kids than going to work there's something wrong. As an employer of 15 people ( plus subbie gangs), I know that you have to pay a fair wage to not only motivate but to make people want to work as opposed to sit home and sponge.... My apprentice's wage is boosted up every week to make it fair, I have another young lad who was on salary, I reviewed his wage to hours a coupe of weeks ago and felt it wasn't fair, he's now on an hourly rate above the minimum and is happy...
  2. I was 18 and a woman who was about 40 at the time was right into me,she was the sister of a good friend of mine and married to a bloke who worked the doors in Torquay, I ended up back her house one night, her husband was working and she was like a woman possessed, I'm not joking she was mental... I'm trying my best, all action.. No technique... The whole time shitting myself her husbands gonna run in and catch us... All the while she's shouting " fck me fck me".. I'm thinking I am for fcks sake... Lol My mate went back with an older woman one night, he was no more than 17 she was a hag as
  3. Surely just "ruffling the feathers" of the big boys is a start, making them think is better than any "smaller" party has really achieved ( from what I can remember), As a lot on here.. and generally.. I'm not over clued up on politics, but I can see and hear, and pretty much know that whats been going on for the last decade or more is not something to make you happy or even proud.... the honest working man has been shafted for too long, if nothing more than forcing some changes, with out the need for riots or worse is a step in the right direction in my book...
  4. Now Wilf that is a post. and a half .........
  5. We're off to Guernsey in August to visit the wife's family, her cousins are keen fishermen and I've been invited out on some trips both on boats and a couple of days kayaking, I've been on a charter trip to Alderney years back and the fishing was fantastic, so I'm already exited to get out to Guersey lol Any of you lads fished out on the Channel Islands?
  6. That's an excellent post acuspell and great pics... I'm buying a kayak this year for sea fishing, I'll drop you a pm but I would love to come down to Plymouth for your safety course.. We're going to Guernsey in August to visit my wife's family and her cousin has offered me a few days out on his kayaks out there, with him and any time I want on my own... I can't wait...
  7. There's new life found everyday, near on, in the sea... They reckon we know more about the moon than we do about the deepest ocean areas.... Big cats??.. No idea, but driving across Bodmin Moor on Saturday was nice to have a legend to keep the kids minds occupied.. Lol
  8. I would imagine UKIP will be put under the micro scope now, the big boys are worried... The good thing is for the last god knows how long the Tories and Labour have been performing their own smear campaign whilst in power, they are their own worst enemies..... It looks like it's kick up the ass time, at the very least...
  9. Funnily enough just talked to the wife about this, we don't normally vote as I have in the last little interest in politics ( narrow minded, naive, selfish.... Whatever, I know) We are both voting UKIP this time, and talking to friends work colleagues etc it seems most are, the old Tory/ labour power could be in for a shock I reckon!!

  12. Well if your getting rid of Carrick anytime soon i think Green and White hoops would suit him perfectly............ Keep your hands off Carrick mate, he's our best midfielder.... But your welcome to that fat, slow, no position, used to be bald, prostitute shagging, scouse waste of skin Rooney though........ Haha...........Yip i'd still take him up here.... As for Carrick ive been saying for years ive always thought he was an outstanding player.........what boiled my piss was he seemed to play second fiddle to that useless c**t Darren Fletcher and in return that consistency in the Man Utd

  14. The only difference i'd say between Jones and Rooney is Jones is a young lad possibly trying to find his best position where as Rooney is known for club and country as a striker, and always has been a very good one at that.....i'm just not sure that putting him further back will be everyones cup of tea.......If i was a midfielder being left out because a striker who wasnt possibly playing his best upfront was given my position in midfield i'd be offski..... jamie carragher was always thought of as a striker as he went through the ranks, modeled himself on sharpe, ended up a world class defend
  15. Thanks Alimac, I had a update I needed to download, ( I never noticed the big red sign on my phone lol ) I've done that and it's working now...

  18. That's it mate , thanks a lot, Updated and back to normal...
  19. Thanks WXM Lab, I know... I can't edit, add to posts, nothing... I've read back through it all and some severe editing is required lol Mind you talking to Scotsman about football and expecting him to see sense is stupid in itself lol......
  20. Fair enough mate, like you said earlier we'll wait and see what Fergie decides, he knows better than any of us how to set up a football side lol... Obviously on Monday he thought that was the best side to win the game and no one could argue because they did.. And Rooney was instrumental in the early purple patch... Another midfielder required and Rooney needs to learn how to play like a traditional Centre forward lol
  21. It doesn't work for some reason, I press it and it just goes to the top of the page but stays on mobile version.... It's always worked before???
  22. Does anyone know why I can't use the full version on my I phone, it's doing my head in on mobile version..... I think I've even liked 2 of Stewies posts by mistake lol
  23. I understand what your saying Lab, but there is no one else at UTD ( apart from Jones) who can play in other positions as well as other player ( if not better).. I would rather Rooney in the side than not 9 times out of 10 and the majority of the time he'll play as a striker or in behind... The thing is as well, sides are set up to make room, on Monday Valencia pulled right out wide, Kagawa or Giggs changed around pulling defenders away from RVP, his movement is so good that once the others are more interchangeable spaces open for him, that 2nd goal was all about the setting of the play and Ro
  24. I played with a lad for years who was at Exeter City until he was 18 and then let go, a mate of his was playing for Aston Villa's youths and they got to a cup final against Everton, my mate went up to watch.. Rooney was playing for Everton I think he was 2 or 3 years younger than the age my mate reckons he looked overweight and not at all like a footballer, but he was by miles the best player on the pitch, even then he said he was everywhere and was far quicker than you'd imagine... Rooney is no slouch now and he is one of the most energetic/fit players around... How many times have you seen a
  25. Lab I would rather see Rooney further up the pitch myself, although he knocked some great long balls on Monday, I don't think he is a midfielder in the true sense, but football teams are set up different now, very rarely do you see 2 forwards play side by side like years ago, more often than not its 1 at the top and another linking the play or 3 across the top but all being fluid and able to change position easily.. Rooney is a brilliant footballer so he can play in these different roles, I really think ,IMO ,he should play just behind RVP and link the play, on Monday Fergie set his side o
