The beasts of Bodmin and Exmoor are both sabre toothed rabbits mate, all this talk of panthers etc is rubbish.. It took 3 dogs to take the beast in the photo lol

Cheers for the replies all Mine are the beddy/ whip in the portrait and the terrier in the bottom pic, the 2 in the top pic are my my mates who I hunt with a lot and the other beddy x is my brothers.. The 2 photos at the bottom were taken by SeanC off of here, he takes some great pics, I'll put a couple more of his up later.. Cheers Kev

A mate of mine is a greyhound man, he's over to Ireland fairly regularly, either him or his partner... One of my constant fears for the kids is choking, my wife says I'm obsessional about it.. I hate those hard lollies on sticks, heard of them coming off the stick and lodging in a kids throat.. My brother as a kid was choking on bacon and my dad rammed his fingers down his throat and pulled it out, the same happened to my brothers daughter ( fcking bacon again lol) 25 years later and my brothers fingers are down his daughters throat pulling the bloody stuff out..... My kids will be on a liquidised diet until they're 18 lol...

Not very heroic, but we were driving home one night and saw an old boy keeled over on the side of the road with a spaniel beside him, laid him on his side and called the ambulance.. He had had a heart attack and when the ambulance arrived, they took our details and asked us to keep hold of the dog... So the old boys off to hospital whilst me the wife and our eldest who was about 4 at the time are off home with his dog.. His wife rang the following day and we returned his mad springer lol.. He came out of hospital and wrote us a nice letter with a box of chocolates... My uncle pulled a boy ou

Word of advice mate, get the multi part travel rod instead of telescopic, I've got a Maver one nice little spinnig rod and much better than tele scopics, they go down to about 1.5ft long pieces.. Have a good trip mate

We've had a tele com engineer in our office pricing to re wire, new phones etc, he's finished my mates place next door and thinks he's doing mine.. He is the most boring, iritating twat I've ever met, he seriously pisses me off and has cost me and others who work for me time with his continued boring shit.... I decided last week I'm going to pay more ( he's the cheapest) purely because I can't handle him, so he's lost the job because he's a twat lol...

I fish a few smallish rivers/streams for chub and roach and catch a few trout in the process, for that I use a stick float and run it through the deeper runs as Billy said holding the float back ( put your finger on the spool to stop the line peeling off) and then letting it run on produces a lot of bites maggots would be my favourite bait for this.... You could try free lining a worm or live minnow maybe through the run you can't get any more natural and could well work for you, a split shot or 2 on the line will give you a bit more control...it will be a bit if trial and error but good luck

Started out fishing the canal, river and sea and ferreting as young as I can remember probably around 6 or 7, every weekend and lamping on Friday nights after youth club lol, always rabbits and a few hares.. My weekends were filled like this for years had air rifles but never hit much lol, was always into dogs and ferreting unfortunately I just didn't have the time and drifted out of it from about 20, still fished a lot but couldn't keep dogs ( it wouldnt have been fair) and was never into shooting..
