During a chat with SeanC yesterday he commented on my lack of posting on the ferreting this year, so I thought I'd chuck a few photos and a little report up... Sunday was meant to be a trip up the road to a large chicken farm, I've only lamped this place so far and it's full of rabbits so I was keen to get stuck in, I had to phone the farm manager in the morning and set up where we could get at, unfortunately he hadn't managed to speak to his boss ( the owner) who lived on the farm and was reluctant to let us on with out letting him know.... My hands are in they're normal Monday state, lol.... Bramble, hawthorn, holly, this weekends hedge had the lot..... Big purse nets or poke nets in the runs ( you won't get most of the holes but the rabbits use the runs as if by habit, cut them off and you'll catch)... Long nets around it or we use 6 yard stop nets, at right angles to the hedge ( most rabbits run along the hedge)...we had 9 on Sunday and only missed 1, it was a tough hedge.

Had a look at your site mate, looks really good.........personally (what with me having no soul and all that ! Lol) I would also have a room full of brasses next to the green room just to enhance the income stream !! LolFunny you should say that lol....... The green room is still as it's been since we done it, full of roofing shit lol.. We brought a bar off a mate, the full lot it was used for an ice rink at Christmas a few years back, that was supposed to be set up in there.... Problem is real work gets in the way...

I've renovated an old industrial unit into 2 rehearsal studios for bands, put a mixing room in the middle, so one day it can be a full blown recording studio.... makes a couple of quid extra a month..

I'm sorry it's late, but here's 30 assorted flies in a traditional box for BPR's auction.... Hopefully they raise a couple more quid for what is a really worthy cause, I'll do postage obviously..
