I know for sure that was my mistake a few years back, small firm mentality when your dealing with 50- 100 grand contracts.., it cost me and I know ultimately it was my fault... Lesson learnt and I try and cover my ass as much as possible now, the problem in the buildings is cash flow, if your on 30 day payments that's always stretched out to 45 if they can, then you've paid your labour and materials, they still haven't paid, threatening letter, legal maybe, now your on 60 plus days and the next set of bills are in... And so it goes... Some people just play the game, you get to know who's who

If I'm out for a drink ill have a good sesh, I don't hardly ever drink at home, I enjoy the social side of drinking more than the drink itself..... Only problem being once I star I like to keep going until I can get no more lol.. Oh and hangovers are like nothing else now, before I was 30 nothing now death warmed up.. Lay him off the hunting for a bit mate, that sounds like play to me... mine do that in the garden ( but with out the biting) the kids call it "the mad ferret dance", if his brothers steadier just use him for the minute and work on handling the other, it may take a month or 2 but you'll end up with a better ferret after.... They're very young ferrets mate, they need a bit more time to mature IMO

What methods did he use to try to tame/train it? How old was it when he got it? How long did he work with it before he gave up? If you use the right method most mink are surprisingly easy to tame and train. Not ferret easy, but easier than you would expect. Also, you do have to realize my background and what I consider "easy" I've trained wild caught horses (we call them mustangs) and a late seasoned passage cooper's hawks. Cooper's hawks are well know for their difficult temperaments. So my idea of easy isn't most people's idea of easy, but like I said it isn't as hard as people thin

As I said I would not employ the Eastern Europeans, it just doesn't sit right with me, but the problem is most firms do and it's driving prices down for everyone..... I too thought he was a top player, I watched him play for spurs in a cup match ( my mate was a big spurs fans and had a spare ticket so I went for the Craic..) he was quality that night... Not as good as Teddy though lol.. This whole things shit though it hasn't nothing to do with colour, f**k me we are probably the most colour lenient country in the world...

shopfitting? --- i did all carpetrights rebranding feck did i chuck some money at that digs fuel overtime .. i`m glad out of it .. tell me about it i'm away right up to xmas we do the air-con, the moneys in the service and maintenance we'll be alright if they give us the contract for that We done 18 months away for a big cold store company, started on a big roof on a waitrose then took all the cladding work on it as well, in the end me and my brother had 18 blokes on the go doing Tescos for them, the full package roof and walls... I preferred it when it was me, my brother and 1 labourer.. A shitty old car and a bag if tools... As it grows it brings more problems, and it's harder to get your money out... I'm not moaning it pays my bills and when it's good, it's worth it... Those lads started from not a lot and had a decent firm, 2 blokes made good..it's a precarious position when your at the mercy of unscrupulous b*****ds...

I've a jill here that was a nightmare up till about 6 months.... put your hand in the hutch and she'd be on it, drew blood a couple of times.. tbh i'd had enough... she's 3 now and is a cracking little worker and the kids can handle her as much as they want.... Personally I think he's still young, but it aint my ferret and aint my problem

My girls the same mate, kicks off if I feed them or clean them out without her... She's got a big hob who's her favourite, I feel sorry for that ferret, in the summer he's involved in a fair few of her games in the garden Nice photo mate

5 months is still very young mate, What age did you get it? I'd lay off of the hunting with it and keep handling it.... Hot meat, I agree if you've got a ferret a couple of years old that starts biting or one that's had chance to mature and wont come round ( biters are a pain in the ass), but at 5months it's still a baby, it'll probably come round in time

How old are these ferrets mate? If it's still young it will just need more handling IMO All of mine can be handled easily, my little girl carries them about most days, every time you feed them pick them up, play a bit with them ( let them have a feed first), it can take a while but should come good.... Some will just be biters though for what ever reason, Personally trying to work a ferret that bites constantly would be no fun to me,
