Spent 4 weeks travelling around Scotland, roughing it in the back of my dads work transit van. Done the same around Ireland.. I loves it up there, fished most nights off the shore or on one if the lochs, caught a load of mackerel somewhere near Ullapool, was gutting the on the harbour and feeding a seal the guts off the wall, had a crowd of Germans watching in the end lol. Fished Stranraer was good, got bit to f**k by midges fishing the lochs lol.. I'll be taking the kids on a similar jaunt in the next couple of years, I might get a few moans off the girls but fin will love it...

I'm in Plymouth, some nice sights and country but all the towns and cities are tips I agree mate, but you don't have to go far in any direction from Plymouth to be in some cracking countryside or on a lovely beach, out towards wembury mate, that's a lovely bit of coastline, then head out the other side towards Tavistock and you're on the moors... There's some complete shit holes in the city as there are in most, agreed, but I wouldn't tell people to go on holiday to Union Street lol...

I'm off to guernsey again, wife's family are out there, so we have a great time, The boys are out fishing on kayaks, whilst the girls are on the beach, or cafe.... I'm not one for sitting around on holiday, so its perfect for us, it's a beautiful place to mess around on...

Missus is from Plymouth, south hams, Kingsbridge, salcombe, bigbury bay, If you like a bit of tat.. Torquay, Paignton.... Brixhams nice Stig..... North Cornwall, watergate bay, Constantine bay, Harlyn bay... I absolutely love that bit if the world,.... There's a lot on our doorstep south hams, Plymouth is a bit if a hole, but 10 mins up the road and it's lovely...

? fancied doing the coast from barnstable down to newquay across paignton newquay dawlish ---trip we did as kids make it up as we go along .. Some beautiful spots down here as you know mate, the North Devon coast is cracking, woolacoombe, Lynton, lynmouth.. All really nice, Some cracking places on the south coast to, plus 2 moors... Can't beat a nice mooch around Dartmoor, then in a nice pub for lunch... Get down here mate, I'll put you on on a few decent spots, and a teach in on the river from Fin lol... Get you bass fishing on the Teign estuary, you'd enjoy that mate...

I have this conversation with mates often, There's a lad who subbies a lot for me, as soon as he finishes work he gets his labourer to drive home and he'll have a couple of cans in the van, then a couple when he gets in,.. Every night, I just couldn't be assed with that personally... Another of my good mates was drinking 6-8 cans of lager ever night after work, he was a real good footballer, but he got fat quickly... He's knocked that on the head now and just has a good drink if we're altogether, or there's an occasion he looks much better for it too.. My problem is I'm more of a binge dri
