    The front and back covers on this minths is from our last days ferreting, The 2 dogs are my mates who I hunt with... I had to leave a bit earlier that day, so luckily my ugly mug ain't in the photo on the back lol

    Can't read anything into last night, it was f****d after the storm. I like this squad though, good mix, I thin old woy's done alright, some decent young lads will get a feel for the big occasion... No pressure really, if they get out if the group I think they''ve got a good chance of reaching the quarters, depending if they finish 1st or 2nd they play the winner or 2nd place from group c, not a strong group.... Then it looks like Spain or Brazil ( I think) in the quarters....

    Yes must admit i prefer to quote for the job,and probably 95% of my work is on this basis but some folk especially if moneys tight will say can you give me a couple of hours hence the hourly rate.Like you say a price is better all round as you and the customer know the score for the job involved .But you should see the looks you get on a £100 job and your done in 2 hours,they forget you got machinery,petrol,tax insurance,waste disposal etc etc. And the ones with money are the bloody worse!! spot on mate!!! i priced up a job the other week, some huge conifer hedges surrounding a tudor ho

    Might miss the best of the cod fishing mate, June - July are the best months On the channel wrecks, there'll be some decent bass if we pick a good tide to drift the wreck with live eels, or on a slacker tide we could fish off anchor for conger and ling ( tastes like cod), also some big bream, trip last year end of August some of the bream were up around 5lb.. For me bream and bass are the best eating fish... And on light gear the best fun to catch..
