No need to thank me mate ... I just didn't think the site was ready to hear about your exploits with the lady boys whilst you were going through your transvestite stage ........ I appreciated the pm mate, it was nice to hear from someone who had been through the same thing...

Bob, I had something similar 6 months or so ago, I put a post up which I didn't think would be a problem, I got a pm off of a lad saying be a bit careful. I thanked him and got the post removed, no harm done no one the wiser...

I will be Bry, I'll get a few dates and let you know. Where are you fishing on your boys trip? I could well be up for a day around then....

Big hook with a live mackerel on, bass will have it...Early morning or late evening best times, different tides for different places.. But generally they like a bit of tide flow... Late summer best for the big ones normally ( yet to have a real big one though, this year I will lol) Probably was a bass mate....... Or like socks said... A shark I will do my best to point you in the direction of one keV if and when you manage to fit a trip over here into your schedule. Are you having a go in Guernsey. I'll be down Bry, definitely.. It'll be September time I reckon ( the biggies should be in

Don't you start Ffs lol Well me and my mate went down, I had 2 fish in the first half hour ( one keeper one undersize)... We could hear bands playing in the town, I know the landlord of the pub so it seemed rude not to take the waders off and have a quick beer in the sun lol... Happy days lol

I do like fishing but just about every time I go it turns into a calamity. I've smashe

There's some knowledgable folk on here Jai, it's picking who listen to and who you ignore.. I love getting shown new things, even when you've done something for years theres always another way that might be better... I've constantly got the otter in my ear asking advice at the minute... Scared he is lol...

One was done with olive oil garlic, ginger and fresh coriander, the other butter fennel, paprika, garlic and lemon... Wrapped in tinfoil gas mark 5 for around 25 mins.... Put anything with bass imo

I'm the same Mal, always too busy, just got to grab it where you can. Got a christening today, but decided I'm not going to drink and grab a couple of hours after the bass again later...

Firstly this is not a dig at anyone, if I was that concerned I would PM. The 2 comments made were perfectly acceptable, and trying to help/educate which is what this place should be about. Maybe I should've put a note up saying fish over legal size limit, but would that draw attention to the way the photo looked.... Along the lines of shot and retrieved beside a hare? I think we've just got to be careful what we post, but at the same time we need to be careful how we reply.. Hey ho, no harm done and they tasted bloody lovely lol
-
No malice or mischief intended whatsoever - that's why I tried to be careful in what i said (especially as I am also a new member) and everything is more than good anyway! I apologise if my post was seen in any other way! I hope they tasted good too! No problem mate, they were lovely lol

There seems to be less and less... Everyone comes and goes.... But most come back, from what I've seen

Was singing the poddington peas theme tune on the beach today Down at the bottom of the garden, amongst the birds and the bees..... My cousins wife turns around and says.. " your showing your age now Kev"... Saucy cow lol Thudercats.. Must go on... Must save... Cheetarah.. Lol What about the get along gang And the jetsons Most that have been mentioned are old time faves, before you had cartoons 24/7 and the couple of hours after school or Saturday mornings were the only time you had..

After putting a post up inc photos of a couple of bass I caught on the fishing section, It was pointed out that they looked under size ( they weren't which I showed by putting a tape beside them) photos are deceiving and can be misconstrued. But topics would be boring IMO without the odd photo, I don't mind being pulled by people in the right way ( perhaps a pm), but by pointing out a potential issue for all to read are we not fuelling a fire which isn't even there. I like most would never put a photo or thread up which would be damaging to myself or field sports, but if you see something

Hi mate On the 2 estuaries I tend to fish you can buy the live eels, £5 a scoop ( which is around 50 eels) so I don't collect my own. IMO they are much better than a lure every time, I've caught on lures but I'm far more confident on the real thing.. Live eels or peeler crab are the stand out baits IMO

Photos can be deceiving, I'm definitely not one for giving anyone ammo.. I thought it was 14" and knew they were way over that, we've all got to be a bit careful with picking the bones out of each other's posts too!! We wouldn't want to give them ammo that isn't there.... Would we?

Had a quick measure Smaller fish nearly 17" bigger fish 19" Thought it was 14" though so was more luck than judgement lol
